Sportsbook odds for Bellator HW Grand Prix.

It's a bellator tournament, something fucking weird will happen
Mir for the win tho

Rampage will beat chael, fedor will beat Mir if he comes Into this prepared which I have a feeling he will.

Rampage vs fedor, i think even at this point fedor will be faster than rampage.

Roy beats mittrione easily, and it' a toss up who wins no with mo vs bader...It's hard to say. But Roy can beat either of them,

It' going to come down to Roy vs fedor...either Roy sleeps fedor, unless fedor has a very good game plan. If he just tries to head hunt Roy, Roy will end up knocking fedor out sadly,
I agree with you on Rampage, he clearly doesn't care anymore and will probably show up slow and heavy just to collect a paycheck. I'm surprised you are dismissing Mitrione so quickly, he is quick, skilled, and athletic; and as a heavyweight it gives him an advantage over the LHW field IMO. MO vs. Bader might be the fight of the tourney, too bad it's going down in the first round.
You've kinda swayed me on Nelson's chances tho, I'd think the winner of Roy/Mitrione can take the title. Btw, sign me up for a Roy/Fedor title fight!

Roy is durable, and has an extremely good chin. They are both punchers, however Matt is not nearly as durable nor has a good chin compared to Roy. Roy definitely knocks out mittrione even if Matt lands a few good shots.

Im not really excited about mo vs bader...think personally it will be boring and I am sure Coker is hoping neither of those guys win the tourney...don't think it will happen but would be a shitty result if either did.

Fedor vs rampage will be a nice fight just for the fact they both fought in pride, and I think a lot of people will tune into that one.

hopefully Mo being a wrestler and Bader more of a puncher will bring out the best in both of them. Styles make matchups right? I could be wrong, but after the snoozefest that was King Mo/Rampage I really don't have faith in Rampage. He just doesn't seem motivated any more. I agree with you that Bellator prob doesn't want a LHW to win since it's technically a "HW tournament" and it would screw them if the first HW title in years went to a 205er. I appreciate your comments, you've given me a lot to think about, I hope you enjoy the events!

Mitrione(Favorite) : 2-1

Bader : 2.6-1

Mir : 3.6-1

Fedor : 5-1

Big Country : 5-1

King Mo: 10-1

Chael P: 13-1

Rampage : 15-1

*Any other fighter : 5-1

I gotta think Mir is the best bet at these odds. I feel like he has the easiest path to the title. He could potentially be the favorite in all 3 fights.

Then I actually think Rampage is the best long shot bet. Not only does he get the biggest odds, but I think he's more live than Mo and Chael. I could actually see Rampage getting to the final. But I think Chael and Mo are almost 0% to even get there.

My position will likely be big bet on Mir, small bet on Rampage. Also might be worth a small bet on that alternate at 5-1. If Kongo or Shane gets in there, they're probably favorites over anyone.

Where's your allowance money going Sherbros?
I like how Roy is on equal odds with any fighter who isn't in the tournament

Rampage probably has more chance than Mo by vitrue of brackets alone. Chael should be one of the technically easiest outs of the tournament, and that would lead him to a fight with Fedor who isn't going to be much bigger or Mir, both of which have questionable chins at this point. If 'page has one thing going for him, ya gotta assume it's his power, and because of that, combined with his opponents, he actually might find his way in the finals.

Problem with that is, I wouldn't favor Rampage against Matt, Roy, Ryan, or Mo. Neither of his fights against Mo were barnburners and he lost both in my opinion. Bader beat him pretty easily iirc. I don't see him better than Roy anywhere, and his KO power is gonna mean fuckall against the beard. Only one he could hope to knockout is Matt, who has gotten dazed in almost all his Bellator fights already, but those were bigger and more motivated fighters and it didn't turn out well for any of them. Either that, or he has to hope for another borderline robbery over Mo.

Having said all that, I really don't know why Chael isn't a bigger underdog. I realize his grappling might make him the favorite for his opening match against Rampage, but I don't see him having any of the even slight potential success that Rampage could just cuz he's got a different tool to win with.

Seems to me it will most likely be Mir vs Nelson in the final and I pick Nelson by KO.

Sonnen's the worst fighter of the bunch but styles make fights.

Why don't they match a HW with a LHW. Letting the smaller guys fight takes the fun away

Sonnen - Fedor
Rampage - Mir
Meathead - Bader
Country - Mo

That's exactly how I would've done the brackets with the exception of switching Bader and Mo. Fun matchups and potential matchups all 3 rounds

I was back and forth with that.
Bader tries to wrestle Country, Roy able to keep him honest and sling overhands. 1 connects and Bader is face first on mat.
I don't think Mo handles Mitrione's athletic size so the stand up would be sloppy but entertaining.

I'm not so sure Fedor beats Mir, and see pretty much 0 chance of him beating Roy. What's his possible path to victory there? :(

Because they pretty much divided it into the "big name" bracket on the left and the not as famous on the right. Sonnen vs Rampage and Fedor vs Mir are the two biggest fights they could make.

Chael will take Rampage down and LNP for the decision.
Mir will knock out Fedor.
Roy will knock out Matt.
Bader will TKO Mo.

Chael will take down Mir so many times he will tire out and ground-and-pound for the win.
Roy will probably knock out Bader, if not, he will smother him relentlessly.

Chael and Roy is your final, and Chael will more than likely get uppercutted into the third row.

Roy wins.

how epic would it be if he took home the title? He's definitely the guy I would like to win, but I can't place him higher than 4th on the favorites list haha. He definitely has the toughest first round matchup IMO

He is definitely who I want to win too. I’m a big fan of his!

Looking at the brackets though, he almost has to be a favorite to make the finals. I think he’ll beat Mitrione. Mo MIGHT have a chance in round 2. Based though? Hell no
