Last time there was a Grand Prix I was pumped for. It lasted for over a year. Hopefully Bellator does it right. Rampage - Fedor in the second round ... Old school Pride FC... Wood
I'd like to see him get his face flattened by Fedor, then have him return as an injury replacement and get knocked out 2 more times.I believe in Chael Sonnen. He got this.
King Mo.
Mitrione(Favorite) : 2-1
Bader : 2.6-1
Mir : 3.6-1
Fedor : 5-1
Big Country : 5-1
King Mo: 10-1
Chael P: 13-1
Rampage : 15-1
*Any other fighter : 5-1
I gotta think Mir is the best bet at these odds. I feel like he has the easiest path to the title. He could potentially be the favorite in all 3 fights.
Then I actually think Rampage is the best long shot bet. Not only does he get the biggest odds, but I think he's more live than Mo and Chael. I could actually see Rampage getting to the final. But I think Chael and Mo are almost 0% to even get there.
My position will likely be big bet on Mir, small bet on Rampage. Also might be worth a small bet on that alternate at 5-1. If Kongo or Shane gets in there, they're probably favorites over anyone.
Where's your allowance money going Sherbros?
Again, styles make fights. Do you really think Sonnen beats Fedor or Mir in the semis?hmmm awkward because chael is undefeated? how could someone be a favourite over him? bit strange if you ask me
LOL he shouldn't even be allowed to make a living in MMA.I believe in Chael Sonnen. He got this.
Watch someone get injured, then Rory wins the whole thing.
Not dark horse at those odds lol, it’s a safe betany other fighter is the dark horse, remember DC

Swap Roy and Fedor's spots and Roy probably becomes the favorite.
Rampage is a bigger name than Mir, arguably Sonnen too. He was one of Pride and UFC's top draws in his heyday.I think the match-ups are flawless, and really show some matchmaking savvy from the Bellator brass. You have to think about your priorities as a promotion. And you have to order them. In order...
1) Fedor and Mir have to fight. Boom, done, first round.
2) Try to get Chael through. Biggest name outside Fedor and Mir, and will do the best job of promoting future events. Also, possibly the best story line, as he is the one middleweight. Boom, Rampage, Chael's best shot.
3) Make the fights as "fair" as possible, for integrity of the event. All the match-ups are about as even as the first round could be. But you still have the intrigue of mismatches locked in for round 2.
In the end, I think they played it perfect.
