So the truth is finally revealed...

It wasn't the fact that TJ left. Anyone has the right to choose where the train but its how he went about it. He lied to the team and Faber for weeks saying he wasn't going when he already made the decision to go. Then a week before he leaves to Colorado, he tells Faber after breakfast that he is leaving and not only is he leaving to do a full camp at Elevation Fight Team, he is also going to fight under the Elevation Fight Team banner and will no longer carry the Team Alpha Male banner. So TJ lies for weeks and then comes out and says not only is he leaving to do a camp elsewhere, come fight time, he will no longer represent Team Alpha Male YET TJ still wants an open door policy to come back and train whenever he's back in the area.

Dominick Cruz dislikes Faber more than anyone else and even Dominick Cruz was able to word everything perfectly

Tj told urijah he wanted to train at both but his new sponsors wouldn't allow him to say Alpha Male

That's the issue , tj wanted it both ways. Train at alpha male but only rep his new gym/sponsors
Correct. The main issue, outside of TJ lying for weeks about not leaving, is that he would now be fighting under the Elevation Fight Team banner, representing Elevation Fight Team...but he still wants an open door policy at Team Alpha Male to come and train as he pleases, whenever he can since he still has a house in Sacramento.

If you leave the team that you started with from scratch, the team you became champion under, and go somewhere else to represent another team, another gym, you can't blame the previous gym for saying the door is closed here.

Cody is annoying as hell. I hope TJ wins.

TAM needs to stop acting like drake over this whole thing. These grown men are all in their feelings.

Its weird that Cody walks out to the cage holding hands with a child (which is a beautiful story) but then ambushes TJ by the throat and then brags about it

It's not the fact that he left.

They are pissed that he denied splitting time between camps and wanted to leave.

And it's not just a "camp". Urijah gave TJ a place to live, Urijah lent him money, he takes guys in and teaches them how to invest in a future after fighting. He treats these guys more like friends/brothers than just trainer-student.

Of course when you develop a bond with someone, bring them up from the bottom, and finally see them succeed at the highest level, you are going to be disappointed when you see them follow a shady guy who owes you a lot of money.

The thing is that everyone at TAM trains elsewhere and it has never been an issue. The problem is that TJ went with Bang, the guy that Faber despises.

Had it been another trainer, there wouldn't have been this problem. TJ went with the enemy

It was 5k a month, plus a house leased for a year, plus not having to give a % of his purse to train. Plus he gets to train with guys like Lomachenko. Meanwhile everyone at TAM besides Cody has completely gone down the shitter since Bang left.

He clearly made the right choice.

Anyone would have taken this offer

I thought this, thread was about Platinum being the greatest. Sorry
