Last weekI shotmyfirst gun and had my marksmanship test inthe same week. Only notable points is they are very loud and it sucks to shoot in the rain because even reliable riflrs will get sandy and jam.

My accuracy was 80% from 100 yards and 100% from 50 yards which isnt very good or anything but was good enough to pass my Carbine Rifle test for my corrections training.

Next week I'm going to shoot my first handgun, a HK9mm which is our duty pistol for escorts. I also still haveto learn to use a shotgun as well.

Who else has shot guns? Who is a super good shot? What kind of guns do you shoot and which are your favorite?

I've put some steel down range in my time, enjoy a lifelong hobby!

So do you know where you will be posted?

Qualified as a Sharpshooter while in the Marine Corps. Missed Rifle Expert by one point on my last ever certification. That hurt.
<mma1>

I try to go shooting at least once a month. Handgun, Rifle, and Shotgun.

Question for my current Service brothers.

Do you guys qualify using optics nowadays? Or do you guys still have to qualify on irons?

Love shooting but I have a big bore fetish so it cost too much.

Steel? You fire artillery? That must be fun.

Got my first BB gun at age 5, a .22 rimfire at age 10. Fired a shotgun and pistol the first time at age 12. Got a .30-06 at age 16. I shot on the rifle team in high school. I shot clay targets both trap and skeet often shooting 5,000 shotgun shells a year. I was in rifle and pistol shooting leagues and have a few trophies. Just a normal American man.

I shoot at least monthly. Handguns shotguns, rifles. I'm a better shot than most at my agency but nothing spectacular.

When I deployed in 2013 with the National Guard I shot expert with pistol and rifle. We shot with optics ACOG'S which made it easy as hell,

My dad taught me to shoot starting when I was about 12

My bro in law works for a law enforcement agency that sends him new guns every few months (he has a home armory for his job). Every time he gets one we go to the range and "test" it

I'm a good shot. I also shoot raccoons with an air soft gun to scare em off my yard, I can reliably shoot a running raccoon in the haunches from 30 yards. I've rarely shot moving targets with a real gun though so I'm not sure I would know how much to lead. Even the Times I've gone hunting I usually wait for things to stop moving before I try to shoot them

You Ameicans and your guns... when will you realize that firearms do not belong in civilian hands? How many more children must die before we change our laws? Firearms should only be available to deployed active duty military with a combat occupation and SWAT teams and the firearms should be accounted for, under lock and key after each shift ends.

Did your second testicle descend immediately? I had an ak-47 when I was a kid. Great gun....even though it was a damn chinese made. Thinking about purchasing a shiny 1911 pistol and say some cold shit to a motherfucker before popping a cap in his ass (yes I know Jules had a wannabe 1911 while Vincent had a 1911 in pulp fiction).

How long until automobiles are banned. Someone think of the children.

"Firearms should only be available to deployed active duty military" - so you have no clue why the 2nd amendment is a necessity? Go back to your metric system and pissing whilst sitting like a fucking Swede.

I need a gun I can stick my boner in...

:eek::eek::eek:

Been shooting for years here in Canada. First rifle that I owned and shot was the dreaded AR-15. Love shooting all kinds of guns but my favorite has to be the rifles from the world wars. Enfields, mosins, SVT-40, K98, K31, Garand.

I have good days and bad days. Best shooting that I've done has been with my k31. Really accurate with an awesome trigger. The Swiss made an excellent rifle.
