At PFL tonight, women's flyweight challenger series. Kaitlyn Neil defeated Kathering Corogenes by UD 29-27. Shanna Young "The Shanimal" beat Sandra Lavado by UD. Desiree "Dirty Dez" Yanez outdueled Maira Mazar by UD in a nice back and forth scrap. Yanez won the PFL contract. Lisa Mauldin picked up her first TKO finish over Helen Peralta by wearing her out via takedowns and then securing the victory via ground & pound. For much of the fight Peralta seemed content laying on her back (a strategy I will never understand).
