PBP PFL 2023 Championships, Fri. 11/24, 5 PM ET/2 PM PT PBP Discussion Thread

The reality that no American MMA broadcast has Hardy doing color commentary is a bit ridiculous. The guy is the best on the mic and he's relegated to interviews and between fight work.
He’s a natural. Before he got shitcanned he was my fav UFC colour guy. And I loved the class he showed tonight when interviewing OAM.

I mean this as a compliment but I always feel like he’s trying really hard to nail his job, often UFC commentators seem to fall into a casual take your shoes off mode which isn’t really for me as often as it feels like it happens.

Imo, he’s honest, and professional. Passionate as well. And he knows his shit. He does those breakdowns on his YouTube channel.

I liked having him on a mic during a fight.

Just watched the main event, man what an awful card, and way too fucking long, PFL should maybe split their finals into 2 events.

Speaking as someone who is a GSP fan, OAM is a virus to any potential enjoyment in MMA. Please stop putting this guy as a main event.

I don't even watch pfl and I literally recognize more fighters from this roster than any UFC fight recently

Torrented this today and was amazed it was fucking 8 hours long. Hespect to you guys who somehow got through that live.

I watched PFL, its not at UFC level, but, I can't really say I enjoyed it or disliked it, it was like something I got to watch that I enjoy which is MMA.

I like how every year, PFL gives each fighter hope, by making it to the end of the year..the tournament style is what I wish UFC did each year..and these guys getting 1 million dollars as a reward..IMPA will get richer then what UFC could offer..good for him...I like how they start it in Jan...and end it in Nov so fighters can enjoy the Christmas time with kids..

Should be a good card...not sure why everyone has to hate on things that are not UFC ... something different isnt always worse...

I expect some really competitive fights tonight...and some good finishes too ...i think Kayla dummy's Ladd...

Pineda vs Braga is a crazy good fight..

Aubin at the top of the card is a great fight ..vs All heart Clay.. plus hes Canadian so let's go Aubin!

The HW scrap should be competitive as well ..

Lots of good fights here if you know what your looking at MMA wise and not just i train UFC bro ...
I got into PFL because I like their tournament style and of course, I enjoy seeing Randy part of this organization as well as Kenny Florian...and Dan Hardy...I always thought in the early days how cool it would be to see the pioneers that retired commenting...NOPE not with UFC and Dana BS...so I support PFL just because I respect the fighters that moved on.

I actually missed the main i went to bed thankfully i didn't miss much just another OAM decision win. This event dragged on for fucking ever man. I understand these were title fights but even the prelims where dragging and it has always been bad.

I was rooting for clay collard he's one of my favorites in PFL.

It's content and I will watch it when it's free but I hope PFL and Bellator can grow some of its own talent. Fans can do better than OAM as our champion.
