Opinions on Jim Cornette?

I loved Corny as a manager, maybe second only to Bobby the Brain. I saw him on Table for 3 and then started listening to a lot of his shoot comments on YouTube. He's a smart guy and very entertaining like I figured he would be, but he comes across as an old fuddy duddy, stuck somewhere in the 70s. Very bitter, almost to Bret Hart levels.

So what's his deal? Do people here like him? Agree with him? Find him entertaining? At the very least he is entertaining, but I can't figure out why he's so goddamn bitter. Why he legit wants to kill Vince Russo, just because he did a lot of stupid shit in wrestling.

His ultra liberal/socialist politics are kind of annoying too hahaha

Who is more bitter between those two would be an interesting poll. He's crazy. I like him but he's polarising and I understand why a lot of people don't. Agree with some of the things he says but not all. He's highly entertaining. He loves the wrestling business the way it used to be and in his mind Russo helped facilitate it going away forever. Nearly everyone thinks they should both grow up and get over it but it's probably good for both of their bank accounts and help keeps them somewhat relevant. I hope they fight forever.

He could read the phone book and make it entertaining. The Russo hate is pretty tiresome, it's been 20 years so let that shit go. I only agree with him about half the time but he always makes a pretty good point regardless.

Great heel manager, cuts promos with best of them, and one of the most knowledgable and passionate guys in the business. That said, his perception of the business never evolved past the terrirotories, and sweet lord his voice gets annoying.

I was a 12 year old Northern/WWF wrestling junkie who thought that Rock n Roll and Eaton's mullets/physiques were pathetic. They could go but didn't seem at all credible to me. I'd watch WCW for Flair, Sting, Luger and the Road Warriors. Still remember how much I marked out for Muta and Terry Funk when they showed up into main event status. Never saw either one till they showed up. Muta did a bunch of shit I never seen before and Terry's usage of his banned piledriver convinced me he was a psycho badass.

He's not ultra liberal or socialist. In Europe he is a center-right dude. Proper healthcare and proper education for everybody is the basis of every party's agenda. Nobody wants free access to guns (I go shooting on weekends).
