Ocasio-Cortz trashes Israel in interview, admits she has no idea what she is talking about

"nobody knows more about Israel than me! I know more than the rabbis! You know, not a lot of people know this, but there's a lot of Jews in New York. And I have very, very, very close relationships with many of them. Very close, some of my best friends - everyone says so! Great guys, really great guys. And girls too. Can't forget about them, because they're important too. Nobody respects women like I do. So the Jews, the thing with Jews - I don't know if you know this - but they like money, and I ran a casino; the best casino in Atlantic City. And I've left Atlantic City - got out before the collapse. Ask Chris Christie. It was one of my best calls...."

This is so spot on.

How many of us are members of congress?
How many issues and problems are there in the world?

I don't expect ANY member of Congress to know about every world issue. She literally just got elected to office.

There's plenty of problems in America to focus on. I don't expect a member of Congress to be international politics experts right off the bat. When it comes to discussing and votimg on things, then they need to educate themselves beforehand. Listen to most of these House guys speak, theyre not a bunch of geniuses. And their first priority is local issues.

I'm sure she didn't win her election on her views of Palestine and Israel. And a lot of these guys don't know anything about a lot of places around the world anyways
Lol Listening to many of these people talk about Iraq and Afghanistan before and during the wars was mostly painful

That was just awful. She sounds like a high schooler with zero knowledge of the subject. Then again she is a socialist bartender.

lol@you calling her stupid. She won national honors in microbiology as a student and went on to earn an economics degree from Boston U while interning for Ted Kennedy. She worked as a bartender to support her mother because her father got cancer and went into politics when she couldn't vote in the primaries when her name (along with many others in her district) was mysteriously stricken from voter logs.

During all this time, you were jerking off your tiny dick while posting memes to the war room.

Again, lol@you and your inconsequential, pathetic ass trying to impotently mock your superior.

No biggie.

Having a woeful lack of knowledge on international affairs and issues in general hasn't ruined the President by any means so a mere Congresswoman should be just fine.

Right?

You sound like a grade A cuck. I almost guarantee your wife forced you to vote for Hillary. This dumb bitch is a socialist schill and a liar who has played a group of pussies such as yourself. So fuck off, loser. Money doesn’t grow on trees you pussy hat wearing douche.

La goblina de las americas....

she is not fat, so that is 2010's hot.

She reminds me a bit of that female assistant of hillary clinton, huma abedin I think was her name. Looks hot in some pictures but doesn't possess a harmonious face.

She's not in power

Ffs, all she did was get nominated, in a district where 20% of constituents actually voted
But she got nominated by the party that always wins that district.

Wtf, she even got an asteroid name in her honor, but you're inflating her achievements. Ted Kennedy died when she was 19, she interned in his office but probably didn't work directly with him, she won second place in a student fair and being latina she probably got some affirmative action to propel her and to join Boston University. Where is the first place?
Fair enough for her, she seems like a very hard working person, but she just doesn't sound brilliant in that interview.

lol "she won second place in a student fair and being latina she probably got some affirmative action..."
Yeah, man, I mean, OBVIOUSLY, if a minority succeeds, it MUST be because of affirmative action. No way can they be smart enough on their own. Fucking hell.
lol You guys love to scream 'affirmative action', and don't even understand it, or how it works.

"She doesn't sound brilliant in that interview"? Interview? The 1 minute you heard her talk about an issue she admits to not know about?
You saw one 1 minute clip of her not knowing the intricacies of Israel/Palestinian relations, and have deemed her not smart, based on that? Really?
Not being an expert on ALL matters does not make you an idiot. Commenting as if you did, when you don't, does. The reporter asked her a question, she answered it to the best of her ability.

I highly doubt that you, or the moron TS, knows anything about her actual positions, and you have clearly not heard her speak before. She is articulate and has some good points and ideas.
Instead of listening to her words, you have already written her off as an affirmative action latina that lucked into her position.

To be fair to the girl is she a swindler like Trump?
I mean if she is just a young bartender trying to get involved in politics that's a positive thing. Assuming she follows it up with actual policy knowledge, not the long Con Trump set up.

One of the Worlds best politicians ever was just a homeless painter before he got into politics.
I didn't know Trump was a painter?

stop acting like the middle east is a random topic that never gets brought up. she is running for political position, she should at least know something about it or just say, im still looking into the situation.

Lol, you really come unhinged at criticism of this lady huh??? You should vote for her.

i doubt the interviewer could elaborate either

<31>
Unhinged? Based on what?
I'm more than willing to read up on actual criticisms people have of the woman.

Twitter, FB, and all of these sound bytes have made people morons.
People literally bashing this woman's intelligence because of her inability to wax poetic on Israel/Palestine (a topic she never claimed to be an expert on) in a 1 minute clip.....and I'm the one "unhinged"?
It's a message board.

lol I don't know why you guys post shit like this, or "triggered" instead of something with actual substance. If you disagree, feel free to share your thougts.

lol "The Middle East"
Uh, no. That wasn't what the topic was. "The Middle East" isn't one problem. The issues of Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, Israel are all very different problems, with different solutions.
The topic was specifically about Israel and Palestine.
And no, it is an unrealistic expectation to think that members of Congress should know about EVERY thing that's going on in the world. I don't expect a Congressman or Senator to know about every single issue. That is impossible.
And you literally just saw ONE minute of her speaking. The topic of the interview was not "Thoughts on Israel/Palestine with Alexandria Ocasio". We have no idea what the actual range of her knowledge is on the matter.

Public officials are people, and they will focus on issues that they are passionate about, and issues that their constituency is passionate about. There are going to be Senators and Congressmen that know more about foreign affairs than they do about drug laws, or pharmaceutical companies. They can't all be experts, or be expected to know more than surface knowledge of every thing going on in the world. There is ALWAYS a problem in that region. I don't care if a Senator, a Congresswoman, or even the President doesn't know what is going on right now in the Gaza strip. If she starts stuttering and stammering on things going on IN AMERICA, then i'll be more ready to question her capabilities.

And she isn't "running for political postion", she already won.
But i'm sure you knew that.

now that you typed out all that bullshit to cover your stupid comment. She should have known she was going to be asked a question about that and been ready, especially living in NY. This can't be the first time she was asked about it, LOL.
