There's plenty of problems in America to focus on. I don't expect a member of Congress to be international politics experts right off the bat. When it comes to discussing and votimg on things, then they need to educate themselves beforehand. Listen to most of these House guys speak, theyre not a bunch of geniuses. And their first priority is local issues.

I'm sure she didn't win her election on her views of Palestine and Israel. And a lot of these guys don't know anything about a lot of places around the world anyways

Why exactly is she expected to be knowledgeable on these issues? She didn't run for president or Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

I doubt she even really cares about Palestine as she's obviously just mindlessly parroting platitudes that she thinks she's supposed to say because of her political leanings. She clearly has no clue what she's talking about and is a very ignorant person of limited intelligence. Pretty much an empty vessel like most self proclaimed 'socialists'.

However, now she is in a relatively meaningful political position I imagine her palms will be greased and she'll suddenly change her tune. Expect to see her stood with Chuck Shcumer as they wave Israeli flags together and cry about how evil Trump is.
 
If only Trumplings would hold their daddy to the same policy standards they hold a random congressional candidate.

Uh, no. That wasn't what the topic was. "The Middle East" isn't one problem. The issues of Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, Israel are all very different problems, with different solutions.
The topic was specifically about Israel and Palestine.
And no, it is an unrealistic expectation to think that members of Congress should know about EVERY thing that's going on in the world. I don't expect a Congressman or Senator to know about every single issue. That is impossible.
And you literally just saw ONE minute of her speaking. The topic of the interview was not "Thoughts on Israel/Palestine with Alexandria Ocasio". We have no idea what the actual range of her knowledge is on the matter.

Public officials are people, and they will focus on issues that they are passionate about, and issues that their constituency is passionate about. There are going to be Senators and Congressmen that know more about foreign affairs than they do about drug laws, or pharmaceutical companies. They can't all be experts, or be expected to know more than surface knowledge of every thing going on in the world. There is ALWAYS a problem in that region. I don't care if a Senator, a Congresswoman, or even the President doesn't know what is going on right now in the Gaza strip. If she starts stuttering and stammering on things going on IN AMERICA, then i'll be more ready to question her capabilities.

And she isn't "running for political postion", she already won.

I think you're missing the part where she opened this door by criticizing Israel. That's the only reason the question was asked. It's not like the reporter just blindsided her with a random, out of blue question on Israel and Palestine. She has expressed strong feelings on the matter.

By any reasonable standard, that is an intelligent and attractive person. Probably top 3%, all things considered.

It's funny, I always hear Sherdoggers calling women ugly and nitpicking their appearance. But pretty much every time someone posts a picture of their girlfriend she looks like some white trash waitress at a local diner with bad tattoos, herpes, and a high school education.

I mean, I guess it is an MMA site and all.

Na, I always point it out when people on here are overly critical of women's appearances on here. I just think it's obnoxious and pathetic. But that's modern society, it's a troll culture where people make those judgements in anonymity so that people can't call them ugly back.

Hell, one guy on here is constantly an abrasive asshole who regularly shits on entire groups, religions, immigrants, etc. I made a really lighthearted comment about his mustache, and he got so upset that he reported me, lol. That's who we're dealing with.
