Can't wait until this comes out. I will be buying an X-Box One on the same day because every other game seems to bore me.

Has anyone found anything that gives them the same enjoyment as the Mass Effect series?

Bioware's previous games like Baldur's Gate I and II, KOTOR, and Jade Empire but there's really nothing out on the market currently that has squad banter/camaraderie in a space opera setting.

Has anyone been watching the Andromeda Initiative videos? Some pretty interesting little worldbuilding videos and you can unlock a piece of equipment if you watch all of them.

I bought KOTOR and just coudn't get past the graphics. I'll check out the other ones. Thanks.

Pet Pyjak bro

I thought ME3 was really good. Very sloppily written with tons of plot convenience, obviously rushed, but still good. Ending was a tragedy but dat Citadel DLC made up for it

I still have to play the Citadel DLC. I'll need to get on that before ME:A releases. ME3 was I believe the last game I picked up on day 1. I got all the DLC for it, but never touched any of it until March 2016 when I finally got around to playing the Leviathan and Omega DLCs which were pretty good (though not as good as ME 2's Shadow Broker DLC).

Citadel is a little silly. It's basically a bunch of fan service. Essential if, like me, you developed a weird attachment to Shep and the crew

I just want my Shep to have a three-way with Miranda and Ashley -- my paragon soldier Shep's love interests. Let him bang bro.

My ninja. Dem asses. A Liara and Tali 3way would be exotic as fuck though not gonna lie. It would be like bipedal tentacle porn.

It would be pretty funny and tongue in cheek if in Andromeda they let you have a crew member that was just a tentacle, like from Day of the Tentacle, that only female captains could romance.

Haha, yeah I imagine the graphics look pretty rough nowadays. I'd say it's still worth a playthrough if you like Star Wars at all and you can see where they derived Kaidan Alenko from. It's a good story, too.

If you haven't played them, the Dragon Age games will look better, especially Inquisition, but the gameplay might not be your style. Still, it has a lot of great Bioware characters like Alistair, Morrigan, Dorian, Iron Bull, etc and a very fleshed out lore and world. It relies a lot on typical fantasy tropes and an extremely strong A Song of Ice and Fire influence. The later games DAII and DA:I is where they started to draw from their own creative well.

I'm actually playing through DA:I now because I never finished the main story or the DLC and I picked up the GOTY edition a while back for cheap. Playing through it has gotten me more hyped for Andromeda. I just hope they got Patrick Weekes back on the ME team to contribute some writing to Andromeda. His work has been really great in DA:I.

Witches 3> DA:I and IMO very similar to Mass Effect as far as character interaction goes.

And any fucker that says Dark Souls or Bloodborne are RPG games needs a good kicking from Shep, Geralt, the Vault Dweller, the Nameless One and even fucking Enzio.

Dragon age Inquisition sucks. Quit just after the tutorial when I found there is no CURE or HEAL spell, like wtf?? Terrible design. The first DA is the only great one.

There are healing potions and healing mist bombs that any character can carry. Bit unfair to judge the whole game based on a tutorial.

With the way the powers and cooldowns work in DA:I, heal spells would be too easy to spam. Pots are fine and you have loads of options to heal.

Eh the reaper had a heal spell for himself that's all I needed. I would mow down the crowd. Can't wait to buy the GOTY edition and do it all over again.

I might have to try it again.

The Witcher 2 was amazing but 3 was just poorly written and the way the story unravels is horrible.

1. Having to do quest after quest for that lord because he needs so many favors before he tells you everything was horrible but I worked my way past it hoping it would open up after that.

2. Then you have to find dandelion and find all his mistresses. Then do favors for that other guy so he can tell you some more.

I got about 20 hours in and just gave up. I really wanted to see how the story ended but this was just far to bad for me. It was weird cause I didn't understand how the writing changed so much from Witcher 2 to 3. Then when I looked up the writing team and I realized they had a different lead writer and I think they lost another writer on top of that as well.

It was weird to me that side quest in W3 were setup and told better than the main story itself.

I've never played any of the other ME games, but I might get this one.

You should definitely think about squeezing the trilogy in before Andromeda bro. So much GOAT

Hell I've thought about doing it all over again before Andromeda but I'm holding off.
