Mark Hunt's Win Percentage

His record might not look impressive. But he's comin for that title!

Only guys for me that compare are Elvis Sinosic, Vernon Tiger White, Tank Abbott and Kevin Randleman.

Also the infamous Daiju Takase

He has lost to every good fighter he has faced.
He has lost to a lot of good fighters but he's beaten Wanderlei (although he outweighed him by 70lbs), Cro Cop, Rothwell, Kongo, Struve, Big Country, Bigfoot, Frank Mir, & Black Beast. The point of the thread was that although his record isn't great, and he definitely has some bad losses on his record, most of the guys he has lost to were absolute beasts. He has some solid wins too though.

He always come to bang so that's why he always been popular to fans. He's never been a legit contender no matter how deflated the hw division has been though.

In the beginning of his MMA career Hunt lost a couple of fights on the ground. He used to be a K-1 fighter. He also has some losses against great fighters. He's still awesome.

GSP never ducked anyone either, but he had an amazing W/L record because he's an amazing fighter. Jon Jones never ducked anyone, nor did Mighty Mouse, nor did Anderson Silva. Hunt's an average UFC fighter. Every fight in the UFC is tough. Stop acting like Hunt's career has been great because he fought tough guys. Everyone in the UFC fights tough guys.
Jones ducked an entire division.

And just because you aren't one of the GOAT doesn't mean you are average either

Is there a better fighter in the history of MMA with a win percentage of 50% or less? Hunt's career record is 13-12-1 (1NC), so he has won exactly half of his official bouts (50%); but check out some of these losses: Josh Barnett, Fedor, Overeem (2x), Melvin Manhoef, Mousasi, JDS, Werdum, & Stipe (Lesnar too, but we all know the deal with that one)
That is an absolute murderers row of some of the best fighters ever (in their respective divisions) and in my opinion Hunt's win-loss record is in no way indicative of his amazing skills as a mixed martial artist.

If we want to move the threshold up to 55%, then BJ Penn has a win percentage of 53.3% with losses to guys like Jens Pulver, Machida (took him to a decision and was outweighed by 34lbs), GSP (2x), Matt Hughes, Frankie Edgar (3x), Nick Diaz, & Rory

These are true warriors who want to fight the best fighters in the world, W/L record be damned. RESPECT.
Didn't read, but hunt sucks. His record speaks for itself

He came from kickboxing and immediately started fighting the best guys in mma. His late career resurgence was the most impressive part of his mma career. He hung with and even beat some of the best guys in the ufc.
