Joe Rogan's biggest whoppers?

"Nate Diaz has the best boxing in MMA!!"

"Marijuana is definitely a performance-enhancer"
"Marijuana is not a performance-enhancer at all"

One time he was counting how long it took the ref to stop a fight.... in slow motion.

"Chris Leben is a K-1-level striker"

"Cain Velasquez has world-class muay thai"

"We might have to bring in Aoki from Japan"

"Chris Cariaso has one-punch knockout power"
Aren't all of those true

So your argument is that the current director of The Hayden Planetarium has ceased learning about the physical universe ?

And further, that scientists cease to be scientists once they become teachers ?

Well, by God.

Congratulations on quite possibly the dumbest post in Sherdog history — a place noteworthy for its capacity for idiocy.

You seem not to understand that the special effects for faking moon gravity, and even the unique lighting on the moon, didn’t really exist back then. There are all sorts of things that really couldn’t have been faked then.

And at absolute minimum, many dozens of people would’ve been involved. In a monumental, global lie. The notion that they could keep quiet is fucking insane. Sheer guilt would be immense - not to mention the immense self-interest of exposing the greatest fraud in all history. You’d become famous instantly, and well rewarded. Anybody in power would be mad to even think they could keep this a secret.

So nope. Tyson is *correct*. And your are not. Your understanding of the difficulty of faking the landing, versus the difficulty of going to the moon, is immensely flawed.

In addition, the Soviets were tracking the Apollo missions from lift off to exiting earth's atmosphere and beyond. They had spies in the American government. How could a conspiracy hope to overcome this thorough surveillance? They were in a space race and the USSR had every reason to call out irregularities. Huge oversight by the people who are pushing the moon landing was faked conspiracy theory. These are the same types who are willing to believe anything that matches their stupid small business owner world view, where the big evil government is the sole reason for everything bad. Like why their shitty restaurant is failing. Or that the world would end in 2012, anti-fa super soldiers would start a civil war, and alien jews secretly control everything. A lot of this bullshit is spread by Alex Jones who, incidentally, Joe Rogan had on his show and treated with a clownish respect bordering on reverence.

To answer this thread's question; any time Rogan says "He got tagged, he tagged him, she's tagging her!" Everyone of his catchphrases is fucking annoying.

1. There absolutely was a way to film a "fake moon gravity" specially when you have 7 years to edit 15 minute video with horrible quality. You obviously have no idea what youre talking about here, its not even worth arguing with you on that point.

2. How many people were involved in sugar industry, when in those same years ( 40s-80s ) sugar was advertised as healthiest thing for children, faking TONS of researches, just putting lies in papers and video on TV decieved millions into believing sugar was healhy? Sheer guilt? How many people are involved in big pharma, know that there is an agenda behind most of their business that is actually hurting alot of people? Ever seen Reefer madness, just a small part in a global LIE that cigarettes are HEALTHY!?!? What about hemp industry? Big Tobacco? Good thing is that for all of those instances there is a possibility of continuing research wich over time exposed those global lies, cause people involved in it obviously had no problem with "sheer guilt". Obvious problem here is, noone can do any research on moon landing though, no one ever even tried it since, we have a video and text as proof and all we can do is read and talk about it.

And im not even saying they were keeping a secret here. They were all contributing, doing their real jobs, analyzing real data, building real rockets. Im just saying, there might be a possibility that noone was actually inside that rocket, or even maybe was but noone was sent to the moon and back.

My point is, creating THIS video with about 7 years time to film, experiment, double check and edit:

Certainly is alot easier than sending 3 dudes half a MILLION miles through space, with a car ( murica ), temperatures varying from -170 C in space to 120C on the surface of moon, radiation, never been tried before, to the god damn moon AND back...

Nothing will top the shit he said about RR...

Pretty much anything he says on his podcast - especially about food.

Except for the satellite and global positioning orbital systems we have in place right now and have had for decades, launched successfully from earth and designed to withstand years in space

It's not hard to believe we sent manned crew to space when we send manned crew to space all the goddamned time to do satellite maintenance

Or do manned satellites not exist too

Did he even go to Moon

Im not arguing that manned satelites or space travel is real, at all.

Im arguing that in 1969 it was harder to send 3 man on the moon and back than to make that video and fake the mission.

Oh ok

But first we had to fake Yuri Gagarin's manned spaceflight in 1961 right

<{1-17}>

The technology was impossibru

You literally have no clue what the holy fuck you are talking about.

Neil Degrasse Tyson absolutely does.

There are plenty of articles and resources debunking this conspiritard BS, and detailing why faking the landings really would’ve been tougher than going to the moon in 1969. Here’s just one.

http://www.popularmechanics.com/space/moon-mars/news/amp28814/moon-landing-faking/

That in 1969, going to the moon was easier than faking it, may seem very counter-intuitive to you. But this doesn’t change the fact that it is true.

He could be talking about Holm knocking out Rousey or the dawn of civilization and he will still say "when you think about it...'x' years really isn't that long ago"

Oh look! An internet article! Written by person named Sophie Weiner!

Oh im sorry then, i was thinking forming my own opinion was fine, but i forgot opinions became obsolete since we have internet articles.

And her best argument is that " The only way to recreate this on Earth would be to light the scene with millions of super-bright lasers." <45><45> , even posting a funny video about it! I can tell you right now that there are multiple ways of doing this, one is simply by using sun as a light source ( increased exposure on dark background, you get exact same result on that video, dont know why those people try to recreate it in studio with 2-3 light sources, they either complete amateurs or stupid ), other method is including multiple light sources, couple of mirrors, and a measuring tape.

And again the argument of "keeping 400000 employees from spilling the beans" ( i guess they included janitors and dish washers to that number ), is nonsense and not thought out at all, on multiple levels, for multiple reasons.

But its an internet article! Written by this girl Sophie! Why would i need an opinion?

EDIT: also were still talking about how hard it was to make a video, lets not even start talking how hard it would be to send 3 dudes and a car to the moon and back, and why today noones even thinking about it, even Musk said it is " way too much of a risk" now in 2017...
