Funny how no one would be calling it boring if he’d wrapped one of those submission attempts up, they were both close. Not Leon’s fault Colby was horrible and didn’t engage, he put on a clinic in the first 2 rounds striking and then out grappled him for the most part too.

Lewis literally beat every opponent he’s ever fought and faced all the biggest names of his era. DC negatively comparing Leon & Lennox was bizarre to say the least.

I found some things in the commentary really surprising too. It didn't really seem like a fair and accurate assessment of what Edwards was doing which was lighting up Colby with his technical stuff and kicks and being in control of the whole fight. He looked fast and sharp. Much better than he did in his two previous fights I thought.

It was like those guys thought it was stupid of Edwards to try to take Colby down, but it was totally awesome seeing Edwards take him down and control him repeatedly and when he almost choked Colby out that was pretty damn awesome. The announcers should have been talking about how awesome Edwards' ground skills were. That was so strange -- how lackluster their comments were generally in regard to Edwards' performance.

And for anyone who wants to just dwell on the last two minutes of the fight, I say whatever to you. That two minutes was the only time in the whole fight in which Colby actually seemed to have control.

Then they rushed to interview "best case scenario 49-46 UD loss" Colby. The game was rigged from the start against Leon. That's why Herb Dean was there... if by a 1 in 100 shot Leon slipped on a banana peel during any round Herb was there to call the fight for Colby.

Only after Colby was exposed as overrated as fuck (those of us with a brain knew that more than a year ago) did Dana toss him to curb like all his other asskissers. They all end up with the same fate/no amount of ass-kissing causing Dana to not trash them once they no longer hold value for him. And as soon as Colby's leverage with Trump evaporated, he became worthless to the company.
