Islamic State released over 40 Turkey prisoners back to Turkey.

Also, more news as Islamic State heavy main battle tanks are now seen just 2 miles away from the main YPG city!! Islamic State artilleries and tanks have started long range bombardment of YPG positions.

Why were they taking turkeys as prisoners?

Are you ever going to give sources for your wild tales?

Sounds exactly like your butt buddies efforts against the west.

Not even close. You don't see Islamic State soldiers using weapons 100 years old such as the mosin-nagants recovered from dead YPG females. As you may know even an American F-16 was damaged by the Islamic State anti air force whereas a bolt action rifle such as the mosin nagant can't even damage an Islamic tank.

The tanks in Liquidfire's pictures look practically antiquated. What are they? Surely the German-supplied Milans will decimate them?

They would have to close within Islamic State sniper fire range to have a chance to fire at a tank.

Who are these turkeys and why haven't we armed them.

T-54/55's operated by IS are obsolete for everything but scaring nearly unarmed villagers while Mosin-Nagants remains very capable rifles at longer ranges.

Yeah sure.

WASHINGTON — The administration of President Barack Obama is still planning delivery of the first F-16 multi-role fighters to Iraq.
Officials said after months of delay the Defense Department and other agencies were examining the feasibility of sending the first of 36 F-16 Block 52+ aircraft to Iraq.

they're are no american F-16s over Iraq....

Milan launchers have a range of 2000-3000m. The longest confirmed sniper kill is 2475m and the shooter wasn't a poorly trained terrorist with an SVD.

Once the Peshmerga are trained to use the German Milans, the "Desert Lion" is going to have some serious problems.

Even if there were, what are the chances that Islamic heavy main lightning AA guns would even be able to hit it?

Well when you compare the stats of the F-16 block 52 to the Heavy toyota AA unit, the F-16 is TRUELY out matched. The only way to subdue such AA is with Stealth aircraft and Small diameter bombs.

This ISIS blokes remind me of the GLA in Command and Conquer Generals..

In Iraq's capital, thousands protest against American use of air power in Iraq and calls for the stoppage of air strikes in Iraq.

BREAKING NEWS:

42 Islamic State soldiers were sent to an early grave this evening when the superior forces of the American military began dropping mighty Christian bombs on the godless heathens. It is believed that before their death, the Islamic State dogs were preparing to turn themselves in and renounce their false beliefs. However, the mighty hand of the American military is swift and unforgiving as they were all wiped out.

The bodies of some of the highest ranking ISIL leaders were identified, urinated on, and burned in a bonfire while the muscular Americans laughed, drank their robust, superior American beer, and watched highlights of this past week's NFL games.

Amazing

....that never happened. What you are referring to is when an F-15 was clipped in the hydraulic system.

You also failed to mention what occurred to the ISIL positions after the plane was clipped...

Yes it was a F15 not F16 I mixed it up because it happened a few days ago and I didn't see it as that significant.

But the point of the entire post was to show that comparing Islamic State to YPG and Islamic State to the "west" is not a close comparison.

From Turkey, Islamic State secured the release of dozens of Islamic State soldiers and a top commander after Islamic State soldiers were detained for weeks at a border crossing between Turkey and Syria.

Post up facts!

U.S. Air Force attacked ISIL anti-aircraft positions near the Haditha dam in northern Iraq. At least five sorties were reported, which targeted U.S. combat platforms stolen by ISIL.

and you ignore this...

So I am watching the Al Jazeera special called Flashpoint Fighting ISIL. They interviewed two women from refugee camps wearing westernized clothing: blue jeans, v-neck shirts, very short sleeves. I not sure if this in Iraq or Syria. Are these the christians and Yazidis and not the Sunni's? They also mention the peshmerga and PKK (turkish kurdish forces) have women combatants.

I haven't been able to see the video, but:

It's unlikely they are Yazidis. They tend to be more isolastic in their approach, so most wear traditional clothing.

They could be Christians. But they could also just be Kurds who don't wear traditional clothing or headscarfs. (Kurds does such more frequently then the Arabs, the female combatants in the Kurdish forces wear modern clothing, for instance).

(or they could just be arabs who wear western clothing - those exist as well)

Those people belong to the congregation of a Shia cleric called Muqtada al-Sadr (ie: the people ISIS want to kill)

Muqtada and his followers engaged in conflict against the Americans during the occupation. He has also broken ties with the rulling party in Bagdad. He and his followers are basically an enclave in of itself. Most likely he is worried about the "religious" implications of allying with an infidel nation like America - especially considering his previous past with the US.
