Split decision = embarrassed? It was his first 5 rd fight, pre-USADA Hendricks lost to Rick Story as well.

This was the Rick Story post-Breneman. Yes he was embarrassed, the one dopey judge doesn't change that fact.

Yes that was a solid win for Story

Gunnar is great to watch. His style and stoic charisma is unusual. He's well rounded and still learning. A loss to Rock Story is hardly embarrassing and even in this last fight he got eye poked to pieces and only blamed himself.

Still a draw for me.

Was there a lot of rebuilt hype? I don't really remember. He's a good fighter it's just his fighting "IQ" is kinda trash and he overestimates his own striking. Hard to see him entering the top 5 anytime soon.

He's a good fighter, but he either needs to revamp his striking style or commit to the ground game. He ain't Machida. And he ain't Wonderboy. Fighting hands down is a detriment to his career.
