No shit. Pretty much every public figure that attaches themselves to a "conservative movement" is a fake-ass, lying through their teeth hypocrite and con artist, who's only barely capable of hiding their disdain for the demographic, in order to seize opportunities in an undesirable, yet still existing market.
Fox News, Laura Southern, whatever, they are all complete and utter bullshit, the product of statisticians and researchers figuring out where the "conservative market" lies ideologically, what their opinions may be and how to pander to them in the most effective manner.
Whenever put to the test, they can only come up with bullshit spins and outright lies in order to defend their hollow ideology, which is not founded on anything other than the will to cash in on the most uneducated, neediest of "marks", who are the most desperate to have someone half-way convincing to speak in their stead, in absence of any legitimate public figures willing to to take a stand for their cause.
That's the sad reality of the "conservative movement" in the public sphere. You're nothing to them, but trash. Figure it out, get a grip on what's "real" and stop thinking that there are going to be any "false idols" willing to speak in your stead.
Hilary lost. Get over it
I'm over it.
I’m no economist or a racist but that’s just textbook depreciation if you ask meOf course she lost popularity because she supposedly had sex with blacks....LMFAO.
That's the altright for you
Saw her in Berkeley, she has a weird mole in her back.
White knight alt righters are all about her becauae she is an ok chick that says she thinks like em.....its like anything else, some pathetic guys will worship some rare chicks that like what they like.
BTW

So I have been thinking about this and Lauren Southern comes across as fake to me.
It seems like that she is basically exploiting a niche market in order to get rich and travel the would.
I think a lot of the women on the internet like her and Britney Pettibone are like this.
I think the only legit women I have seen Lana Lokteff, because she walks the walk i.e. she is married and otherwise traditional.
What is the forum's thought on this?
I think this thread is beneath someone with your education levels.
The OP is referring to social conservatives who believe in traditional values like abstinence and marriage so his comment makes perfect sense in the context of the thread. They often also merge that message with some other common conservative political and economic talking points like stuff related to the migrant crisis or the welfare state and, in the case of Southern at least, the occasional wink and nod to fringe elements like white nationalists and conspiracy theorists. Its like a focus group tested package of right wing talking points designed for clicks.Conservatives are against premarital sex? Are we sure we're not confusing the religious right with the broader politically conservative?
I've never heard a woman say that being against illegal immigration meant she wasn't allowed to have unmarried sex, lol. It just meant no premarital sex with an illegal alien. They're against open borders, not against open legs.
Your first mistake was thinking about Lauren Southern

Southern has argued against premarital sex and promiscuity in general and argued that a traditional lifestyle is more conducive to happiness. She doesn't argue for it on the basis of religious reasoning to be fair but she does make the argument that women should marry young and save their chastity for marriage nonetheless.I disagree. I don't recall her as ever taking a "women belong in the home" position but I might be wrong. I thought she was a "there's only 2 genders", anti-immigration agitator.
My original point was that he was conflating the religious right's positions on women's roles with the broader right wing positions on immigration and general definitions on things. but even though many on the religious right side of things also espouse the general conservative political positions, that doesn't necessarily flow back the other way. They vote similarly but they're not the same groups. The social conservatives, excluding the religious right, are conservative in their sense that marriage is between a man and a woman, there are only 2 genders, you shouldn't have children out of wedlock. They're anti-abortion, not anti-premarital sex, unless you can't afford to raise your offspring.
For Southern to be a hypocrite, she would have to be a part of the religious conservative, not just a social conservative. They're not the same thing.
