Is Eddie Alvarez even considers a good win?

Is knocking out the then UFC Lightweight Champion of the World in dominating fashion considered a good win?

Felder wasn't allowed to fight Khabib because his ranking was lower than Raging Al's.

Chiesa pulled out of the card because of stitches from Conor's dolly.

Pettis was demanding a huge sum of money (I guess you can call that a duck).

Holloway's organs failed him in weight cutting and Ferguson injured himself.

Many opponents duck Khabib, but the primary reason he doesn't have a lot of top 5 and top 10 wins (he actually has a good amount [2 top 5 wins and 2 top 10 wins is solid] is because of long inactivity gaps [injuries].
Bro this is sherdog. Get the fuck out of here with the truth.

khabib had ferguson, hollaway, pettis, felder, and chiesa duck him in the span of 5 days. hard to have names on your record when no one wants to fight you

lol what the fuck are you even talking about?
Ferguson didn't duck Khabib. Khabib pulled out of the first Ferg fight, Ferg pulled out of the second Khabib fight.

*considered.

Before facing conor, Alvarez was 3-1 in the ufc. His first loss was to cowboy, then he had two split decison wins over giblert and pettis.. which he arguably lost. go rewatch those fights and make an argument that eddie is elite in any way. he doesnt excel in any form of fighting. his striking is sloppy, his wrestling is amateurish, and his fight iq is below average.. in his fight vs RDA he was getting worked the entire round until a fluke punch happened to clip rda. he proceeds to get worked by mcgregor then go 1-1-1 after that.

mcgregors best wins all have some sort of asterisk on them. 2 week mendes, pre-hair dustin, young holloway, and post prime first fight in 500+ days aldo. when he faced someone his size he got choked out and had to go to a majority decision to eek out a win in the second fight.

khabib 2nd round submission.
Eddie Alveraz, Dustin Porier, jose Aldo, Chad Mendes are horrible wins?

Yet Camel Shoeless, #11th Ranked Al Iquita, 21-24 pat Healy, are excellent wins?

Gtfoh

pre-hair dustin

post prime first fight in 500+ days aldo

TS is pathetic
Haha, it’s amazing how posters are determined to out themselves as dumbasses over Conor. If Khabib beats Conor then his stock rises significantly because Conor is a great fighter. The same is true if Conor beats Khabib. That’s why this fight is so awesome.

Conor by TKO3, btw.

Yeah, it is a good win. Not a great win, a good win.

If dustin win over nate he fight khab/conmcg winner. Didnt conor put him down with strike to back of head? Kinda cheap win for conor.

Conor beating eddie waz a huge win btw

lol what the fuck are you even talking about?
Ferguson didn't duck Khabib. Khabib pulled out of the first Ferg fight, Ferg pulled out of the second Khabib fight.

there were actually 4 canceled fights between them and 2 pullouts on each side in those 4 signings.

What an absolutely stupid question. Former Bellator LW Champ, UFC LW Champ at the time he was defeated of course it's a good win.

Funny how opinions of fighters keep changes after every win/loss. Too much is analysed ex post.

Guess what, 90% of UFC fighters aren't so called scrubs. There are multiple factors that influence fights that have to be considered like camp, injuries, style match ups, size, media duties, skill, weight cut, family issues, luck, mental prepareness. The list goes on.

Eddie Alvarez is a multiple time champion in more than one organisation. He was also an Ex UFC champ in the LW division. You don't get there by just luck.

So yes a win over him means something.

He's a .500 fighter in the UFC.

Jack of all trades, master of none. Short arms, weak td's, scrappy and resilient but chinny af.

I'd say it was a good win, but for some bizarre reason he literally circled towards Conor's powerhand the entire fight and thought he could bang with him, which was absolutely delusional.

He fought a shit fight, but Conor's striking looked brilliant.

He is 36-6, learn to math bruh.

Amazing how these shit fighters get a belt eh TS?

It's actually a better win then Khabib seeing that Eddie finished the champ before the fight and Khabib won his "title" by cuddling 11th ranked Al Iquita

Eddie Alvarez has a GOAT resume at LW and became the champ of almost every organization he's ever been a part of. Yeah, Eddie is a super legit win to have.

You Conor haters/temporary Khabib fans weren't even around before the Eddie Alvarez fight.

TONS of people were predicting Alvarez could KO him.

He became LW Champ in the UFC after a rough start. The guy was legit at the time.

Conor's left is just underrated.
Even Alvarez said his power is deceptive.

Khabib fucks might be worse than Conor fucks now. Amazing.

They definitely are.

Khabib fans are spamming the forums with shit threads completely discrediting Conor & his wins.

He is a respectable win to anyone.
Yes even for Connie.

I can't shit on the guy, he worked his way up from Bellator and somehow made it to UFC champ aswell. He's not the greatest but he is atleast top 8 Lightweights right now. His fights are fun, he's not scared to throw down even when he's clearly losing.

Had 12-6 and kneeing downed opponent been legal who's to say that Eddie wouldn't have destroyed Porrier TWICE? Truly the underground KING<TheWire1>

Yes Eddie is a great win. Anyone querying that is a filthy casual.

But try using your logic for discrediting Conors record on khabib's previous wins and see how far you get.
