I haven't been in the market for a laptop in years, so I'm well behind on the technology. Basically, I need a laptop that meets the following criteria:

-Large hard drive
-Gaming (it has to handle Battlefield 1)
-Generous offering of inputs (multiple USB ports, HDMI, etc.)
-~$1000

Thanks!

Take your pick.

Spec wise, I would go with Acer.

512gb SSD

I said spec wise. Acer does have that reputation tho. I see the Origin has having the same vcard, maybe TS can go for that. I am partial to MSI & Asus tho.

I edited my post above. For $1k you can get better specs than that Acer.

A computer that cost $1000 today will cost $100 in like a year. lol.

Go to a site like Slickdeals.net and search the computer section. They have a huge userbase who do nothing but post the best deals on products.

That's the one I linked.

lmao. That's what I get for not reading through the whole thread.

I get so much shit off of slickdeals.... I end up getting all my essentials from there. Toilette paper, paper towels, soap and everything else. I stock up. Then I randomly buy tons of shit I don't need, and anything I have a real need for I just set alerts and save tons.

Nice.

Lol.....with a budget of $1000 you can get an amazing laptop. Just make sure to get the following:

- i7 processor
- At least 8 GB RAM (just get 16 GB, fuck it, you have $1000 to spend)
- Solid state hard drive (SSD). No more of those old spinning disc shit.
- 4 GB graphics card
