A law enforcement source says cops are canvassing the area for surveillance video in hopes of getting a clearer image of their suspects.

A search is underway for a group of people who allegedly stabbed a man with machete in Times Square in broad daylight on Thursday, according to law enforcement sources with knowledge of the investigation.

The FDNY said it got a call about a reported stabbing at West 45th Street and Broadway around 10 a.m. One person was taken to the hospital.

According to sources, that person is expected to survive. Sources say he was stabbed in both legs.

Reports are the victim is going to survive which is good but NYC has become a diaster.
