October 7th proved their intentions. If they had the power, they would wipe out the Jews in Israel. I understand that wasn’t true in the 1920s but it is clearly true today. So who is brainwashed if a clear demonstration wasn’t enough for you?

That’s not even addressing the fact that you liberals are supporting one of the most regressive, human rights abusing groups out there.

the majority support hamas. but they are NOT hamas.

You do know Israeli settlers and the military have been violently attacking Palestinians and forcing them off their land before 10/7 right? The UN says it was averaging around 3 per day BEFORE 10/7. Now there have been 794 settler attacks since 10/7. And this is in the West Bank.

Do not support Hamas nor their attack, but radicalization is what you get when you treat people like this for decades.

You seem to be under the impression Israel was innocently minding their business and they got attacked for no reason at all. Which is baffling that you think that. Do you have any idea of the history before 10/7?

For decades, Israel has been keeping the Palestinians in poverty, restricting their movement with daily checkpoints just to go to work, diverting Palestinian natural resources such as water and agricultural land for settlement use, literally kicking people out of their homes for settlers, maintains an illegal air, sea and land blockade, restricts access to CLEAN water (Israeli access to water is 4 times greater), restrict electricity use, etc.

Palestine is the idea of the country. Hamas is the government of that country. We can mince word all day but in Gaza they rule, they have all the resources and yes they have the general backing of their people. Thinking otherwise is choosing to ignore the truth.

You’re not new to this thread. I’ve shared my opinions on the history of the conflict multiple times and no I don’t feel like retreading our way back to the 1920s every time I voice an opinion. I’m starting with October 7th because it is the reason for this invasion that we are talking. Not 1967, not 2006, not 2014.
