I think Wilnis won at least two of the last three rounds. This could be very close or a split.

He maximum won 2 rounds. I had 4-1 Adesanya, worst it could have been 3-2. Israel simply outclassed him.

I disagree, especially about the outclassed him part. It was very competitive the whole fight. Wilnis landed a lot of kicks and hard strikes. Adesanya has much faster hands and looks flashier for sure. Shouldn't have been more than 48-47 either way though. The sportsbooks opening the champion as an underdog was a bit surprising to me. Glad Wilnis won for my bets anyway.

Pathetic. Wilnis was better for only one round and 1/4 of the last one. Adesanya simply outclassed him BIG.

Thought it was very close and depends what the judges exactly value. 48-47 either way kind of okay, one judge was crazy. Don't know what you could be watching to score that 49-46 for Wilnis.

Middleweight Title Headline Bout: Jason Wilnis (c) def. Israel Adesayna by Unanimous Dec - Rd1: Israel throwing lots of hands and landing the straight right to the body at will but Wilnis countering everything with low kicks and landing 90% of them. Rd2: Israel landing some nice fancy kicks on Wilnis guard and sliding some nice uppercuts and body punches through. Wilnis still landing the low kicks and a couple left hooks this round that didn't phase Israel. Rd3: Wilnis lands a few right hands this round while Israel trying to slip all the punches. Adesanya still sliding a few straight punches through the middle. Rd4: Israel is being much more active in all these rounds but Wilnis is moving forwards and landing about 1 or 2 punches in the round and low kicks. Rd5: Adesanya got his groove this round and was making Wilnis miss everything while Israel was landing hard uppercuts and straight punches, great round for Adesanya.

Embree sure was looking sharp the first few rounds. I wonder why he decided to try and punch with a puncher? I would have thought more kicks was the way to go, his switch kick landed every time....says captain hindsight to the rescue..lol.
