It's a bit more complicated than that. At any rate, to make a blanket statement that the left wants to wipe out Israel is beyond ridiculous. To make a blanket statement that the right wants to wipe out the Palestinians would actually be more accurate, although still a somewhat inaccurate blanket statement.

For an argument to hold water you have to:

I don't know if this has been pointed out, but quite the definitve work was published back in 2008 on this exact problem.

These two well respected professors did the unthinkable and exposed exactly, or at least for the most part, what the hell is going on. This was something that for so long was not a topic of discussion by anyone in the academic world.

How else can you get yourself in position to do human intelligence? We would have better relations with more of the Arab nations if Israel did not exist. Well, I think they send copies of the most important documents to all parties involved in nuclear deal with Iran. And are working to send it all. There was no denial about the documents being real, but it was said they were irrelevant. They proved that Iranians lied that they didn't try to develop nuclear weapons, but they did stop developing them when entering deal. So most parties involved didn't think it was a breach of agreement.

Iranian nuclear scientists have short live expectancy and some of the leading ones got assassinated by unknown perpetrators. There is even a monument dedicated to them:

None of our business, I’m pretty cool with no more foreign aid to Israel (money or military)not because I give a fuck about the politics but because we could really use that money here in our country for our people.
