Videogames for injuring my brain, it's a useless hobby.
I traded it for boxing and karate.

I feel for you. Have to sell my dirt bike because I can't ride it anymore.
How long were you playing for? How many times a week were you practicing?Guitar, cause I fuckin' suck at it.
Although I might just give it another go.
I'm sure most of the guys saw me as an acquaintance. But as someone that didn't have many relationships outside the gym, I considered them to be my friends.I never ever looked on the guys I rolled and sparred with as friends, more acquaintances, I was more surprised how little I had in common with my ''real'' friends once I gave up the booze, and how quickly I drifted away from them.
I'm still figuring it out. I went in thinking it was an injury to my arm, but the doctors told me the pain could be attributed to the spine. I need to have some follow up imaging soon. What was the injury?
I have up bjj, not b/c of a maor injury, but rather b/c of just getting older and aches and pains lol at me. I took up kickboxing though, and I am good so far. I'm in it to learn, exercise, and have fun so not crazy intense I guess.
I played in a band in undergrad and gave it up when I left that city. I played the blues harp lol basically my friends who were legit musicians (and still are) let me join.
I didn't realize how much of my happiness was tied to hobbies. And perhaps some of my identity. I almost feel like I'm not the same person anymore now that I can't do those things.
Smoking weed, my wife had enough of me blazing unfortunately.
Try spankbangMy ex wife once tried to get me to give up my hobby of going on pornhub and masturbating. Now we have separated I've been able to focus more and expanded to also include xhamster and wankspider.
I always considered BJJ, motocross, skateboarding, karting, and others, sports. Not sure why. Hobbies for me are like stamp collecting and games like chess. Something safe that you do sitting down by a table. Maybe it would fall under collecting. My new hobby since the beginning of 2018 has been collecting elements. That would fall under chemistry. Things like gold, mercury, uranium, and silver. Fascinating to read about and have in front of you, being able to touch it. Elements make up everything on earth and the universe. Humans are made up of elements. Yes, human cells are made up of elements. Almost 99% of the mass of the human body is made up of six elements: oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus. Maybe you should find a hobby that relates to collecting something you like. I have a friend that collects guitar picks.

It's really frustrating because it interferes with my daily routine. The pansy PT exercises still hurt to do so I haven't tried any real exercise since.
I had to give up cocaine. I was snorting a shit ton, as was my buddy at the time. He died of a heart attack, I'm still alive.Ever have to give up a hobby or something you really enjoy due to an injury, money, time, family, etc.? What was it and were you able to let it go?
