Evan Tanner lookin like Nick Nolte on meth drinkin a bud light WOOO HAAAA!!!!
Then trianglin' people better than a brazillian probably hung over.

That's how i'm gonna remember him.
 
he always gave me hope that i could become a real fighter without having to have any fancy belts or fancy spinning moves

that soemone self-trained could beat bigger, more "skilled" opponents
 
tht tribute video was really good--


tanner had some awesome submissions and knees from the clinch

was good to see his older pancrase fights

nice music to it too--very peaceful

To believe it or not the reason why I became an Evan Tanner fan was because I picked him on UFC: Tapout on xbox about 3 or 4 years ago. I would seriously tear people up with his knees on the game so I decided to see what this guy was about in the MMA world. It was the beginning of something great for me. Evan Tanner was a very good fighter and one I will miss. I've probably only seen 5 or 6 of his fights, that were amazing, but when he got a fight back in the UFC I was pretty happy to see him. The MMA world has definently lost an amazing guy. R.I.P Evan
 
Wow. I just heard about this a few minutes ago.

As I get older I'm really starting to believe that only the good die young.

Evan, you lived a life that most of us everyday guys only dream about. The world is now just a little bit darker place. R.I.P. brother.

Some very beautiful tributes here.

It's a shame it takes an event like this to bring out some basic human decency, and I'm every bit as guilty as anyone else.
