Get three 100m mosin headshot PMC kills on each map of Interchange, Shoreline and Customs. With a suppressed mosin get X amount of PMC kills from 80m away on Shoreline. An the rest of them are of similar nature.

Like the early days of WoW. EFT's biggest strength rests on the initial journey. An from what ive read over the past year Nikita plans on slowing it down once fully released.

One good bit of news that came out last week is EFT licensed Valves audio engine software(which is phenomenal). So it guarantees EFT is coming to Steam at release. With the additional benefit of Valve themselves potentially helping on developing other aspects of this game.

with .12 coming around the corner i think the game will be in the final stretches.
 
You here they're adding 50cal weaponary?

This morning i watched the entire podcast. Content coming in .12 is impressive. Military base map, hideouts, that new modding menu, VOIP, field kit to repair blacked out body parts, new character animations and more. Even after .12 more content is coming in mini-patches.

One of the 50cal weapons they intend to add is full auto, lol. Sounds like the intended release for .12 is July'sh. We are getting a patch prior to that dealing with Unity 2018 asset lods and more optimization.

Nikita also said over 50% of the current 90+ development team is on the 2018 Unity engine.

Funny part was when he talked about how they intend to address hatchet/low geared players. They intend to give some leeway. Constant abuse will be partly addressed by the healing mechanic in our hideout. If the player continues doing it the AI Scavs will aggro to the player moment they spawn in. With the added deterrent of spawning the player in a bad position in relation to the AI Scavs who are aggro'd on them.

Yeah. Curious on how the new unique extractions will work. For apparently it not like Labs. You'll need to use a flare gun to start extraction countdown.

Theyre also redoing the grass textures. Which is apparently one of the last remaining culprits of stutters.

Gotta say performance wise the game is improving every patch.

what im curious about is weather or not there will be raiders or a new kind of enemy on this map. Aka Russian regulars which we know are coming.

Believe its a mixture of former USEC and BEAR forces. Sorta similar to how Labs raiders are.

Four tiers of AI exist; slow, medium, high and insane. Scav bosses like Killa on Interchange would be labeled insane. Raiders on Labs are between medium/high difficulty. Only difference is weaponry and ammo type they spawn in with is of higher quality.

Military Base from what Nikita said will have a mixture of all AI types.

how is it ?

Only time ive played a game that had it was PUBG when it was first released to Early Access. At that time it was a nightmare. The anti-cheat client would constantly crash/corrupt stopping the game from launching. So far nothing like that has happened to me in EFT. Game performance wise i dont see any hit either.
 
Status update on 0.12 release.

Hello, comrades!

We are at the full speed ahead and we can see the land on the horizon. Many things are done.
Time for next status update.

  • unity 2018 migration, optimizations, fixes. We have a good results in terms of optimization. Migration is done.

  • hideout - Last bonuses implementation and polishing.

  • new map - mil base. Current status - polishing.

  • stationary weapon mechanics. KORD is done. AGS is in progress.

  • new exfils. Train exfil is polishing.

  • weapon builds system - done.

  • character clothing customization - done (5 pairs of clothing for each PMCs).

  • new content. Decided to add more gear. 0.12 is the biggest patch in terms of items already.

  • new trader and his quests. Quests polishing.

  • new bosses. Wood's boss is ready. Milbase boss is ready. Guards setup and polishing are in progress.

  • 3rd person character animations overhaul and optimization - done.

  • Added new high performance long distance grass, adding TAA antialiasing and HBAO.

  • Added new explosion effects.

  • And many many other changes and fixes.
What's left to complete in general:

  • All major features finalizing and in-house playtesting.

  • Additional performance issues fixing.

  • Continuing bugfixing (especially new bugs).

  • Initial balancing (hideout, clothing customization).

  • New anticheat system refinement .
