Doo Ho Choi vs Thiago Tavares official for TUF 23 Finale

Tavares is a pretty big step up. Choi is leagues better on the feet though and has shown solid tdd. He's also training with Team MAD now so I would expect his tdd and overall grappling to continue to improve.

Most of the FW division won't be able to trade with Choi on the feet.

There are a lot of killers
at FW right now, though.
Especially those on the
quiet rise.

I'll be tuning in to see his
progress, for sure. I'm
always interested in finishers

Omg I can't wait. Tavares is a good but definitely beatable test for the young prospect.
 
just have them them fight next week! why did they have to make him fight 8 months after his last fight? freaking stupid unless the fighters were ducking him like kawajiri did.

Doesn't Shoji Maruyama hit like a fucker? And Ishida's MMA wrestling was among the best ever. And speaking of Melendez, Ishida also fought and even beat him.

I can't stand ishida.
Dude is talented & has
fought greats. But he is
astoundingly boring.
I guess I'm biased cause
he always goes against
my favorites. Hellboy,
Shaolin, melendez, etc..

Maruyama hits hard, no
doubt. But he's very wild.
I wasn't surprised with choi
winning though. A dude who
can punch down the pipe is
those types of fighters
kryptonite. Again, I had too
much faith in sam finding
Choi's chin cleanly.
