Good idea to build him up slowly. Choi has some of then best boxing I've seen. Keep an eye on that guy.

He's a solid boxer.
Sicilia isn't the most sound
striker, though. So i'm not sure
how much of a barometer that
win was. Admittedly, I had Sicilia
going into that fight by KO. But
that was due to Sam's power
& the question mark around
Choi's chin. Tavares isn't the
dude to expose any holes Choi
may have on the feet. I expect
a early ko/tko for Choi.

I was hoping we'd get to see
Choi put hands on Makwan.

If he is impressive in his showing
against Tavares, I'd like to see him
fight Swanson eventually. Good
enough boxing challenge to gauge
how he'd do against the like of
Edgar, Holloway & McGregor.

Tavares is for sure the best fighter Choi has faced, and the best grappler. I've only seen Choi's UFC fights. How's his grappling, and when was it last tested? Good TDD?

Tavares by unanimous decision, their competition levels are worlds apart. I see him taking him down and controlling him, possibly submitting him but I will go with decision.
