Don't forget that Strickland beat Pereira up when they trained together

Pereira was actually a bit scared of sean strickland in that fight. He said something about how Seans mentality totally changed when they stepped in the octagon .Said Sean had a look in his eyes like he wanted to kill him. Made Pereira extra alert during the fight and real eager to end the fight as fast as possible.

I don’t doubt Sean landed more strikes in sparring. His style translates better for practice because he is a point fighter. Pereira goes for the kill and is much less defensive.
