Does Conor even have the gas tank to go the distance with Mayweather ?

I see a disfigured Conor trying to chase down Mayweather for round after round after round while eating jabs all night. Easy loss by decision... No way in hell is Floyd knocking him out either but thats obviously not his plan.

No but he doesn't really care about winning the fight; he just wants to be paid for it

Floyd doesn't exactly have a high work rate so it's really up to Conor how he wants to pace the fight. If he swings for the fences early it's going to extremely tough. Floyd can win rounds just by landing a decent counter or two if Conor just keeps hitting air the whole time.

That's possibly true but Conor has to be going into this for a win...mentally that doesnt seem to fit his character at least not this point in his career.

Conor knows he is going to lose. But he gets tens of millions of dollars for it.

But , no. Hes does not. 12 rounds ? He gassed both times agains Nate ffs

He's extraordinarily transparent of how he is only in it for the money

Conor has some of the worst cardio in MMA right now.

With heavy gloves and no grappling he is probably good for 3 rounds.

Nah he definitely wants to win. Way too much of an ego and self-believe to just willingly let himself get embarrassed.

Conor got tired eight minutes into the Diaz rematch when he was in completely control, landing at will and not throwing any flashy low percentage strikes.

There's no way that he would go longer than two rounds of missing shots while getting hit with accurate counters without gassing.

And LOL @ anybody who thinks that this would go the distance because of Mayweather's late career performances against elite level boxers.

Punching up takes a lot more energy though. Plus he was spamming leg kicks as a guy that isn't used to throwing leg kicks. Didn't have the same muscle memory to conserve energy.

Who knows

Boxing rounds are much shorter and the most exhausting aspect of MMA doesn't exist in boxing.

LOL

I don't have the gas tank either, but I would jump in there with the fucker for $75m

Conor won't be holding all that unfamiliar weight that he had on for the Diaz 1st fight.

Don't think the boxing fight would be at 170.

doesn't matter. Floyd can and will KO Conor whenever he feels like it. People are going to feel really stupid about buying this fight when it's all over.

LOL what? Have you ever boxed? Facing a taller, longer opponent with a zombie head takes a lot more energy.

Plus Conor is most likely going to be much leaner than normal if the fight is at 147 or 154.

Who knows? We haven't seen him in a boxing match before. He's not going to have to defend takedowns, throw kicks, or worry about much clinching. Probably not.
