...but DC ragdolls Jones in the rematch.... but the 3rd fight will be the determining fight in their rivalry.
 
Leaning toward jones - hard to say what jones form would be. If he'd have ring rust or something though

How many freebie title shots has he had? Sparked in everyone of them. Worse, the 9-12 record with TRT and a 0-4 in title shots.

Awful. If not for strong fan base, dude would be cut.

JJ is the LHW GoAT even though he has been crushing dinosaurs. Past prime fighters with very few exceptions. He should take a tune up fight BUT, he may lose the tune up fight. He has been gone a long time.

JJ worst enemy is JJ himself. IMHO he is more entertaining outside UFC then he is inside. Lacks stoppage power. He is pretentious as fuck. He needs trainers to tell him to check on opponent to 'get some fans.' He is running over pregnant women, he is doing hit and runs + running back to get money/drugs, PEDs user, hiding under octagon from USAdA, DUIs, and the cocaine incident.

THIS IS WHATS PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE ^^^^

Imagine all that chit we don't know (escorts/ladyboys/drugs/Steroids/etc)????

Bisping champ Hend is not.

Bisping 1 shot in 10 yrs. Hendo 4 gift title shots + sparked in all of them. Also, a no show days before a JJ fight.

Its just a matter of fact that without TRT, he couldn't beat Bisping.

What exactly has changed? DC has been consistent but there are no signs of him improving. If anything, the fact that he barely made weight in his last fight and is closing in on 40 lead me to believe that he is on the downside of his career. His wins have been impressive and by any definition he is the second best LHW of all time but the question here will be what shape is Jones in?

In the fight against OSP he won all 5 rounds and cruised to a fairly easy decision. He didn't look particularly interested in finishing OSP and really only utilized his takedowns (which he landed with minimal effort) towards the end of the fight. It may very well have been his desire to get some ring time that led him to keep things at a slow pace.

Other than his fight with Gus, Jones has never come close to losing a fight.

All the focus on his out of ring antics misses the point that they do not seem to impact him in the ring (with the exception of his fight with Gus where he indicated he did not train and mostly partied...).

Jones is 29, undefeated, and has beaten DC in the past and frankly is heavily in DC's head. There is huge pressure on DC to win a fight against Jones. If Jones loses, it's a setback but given his youth and talent, he would easily rise to the top again (look at GSP's losses as an example). If DC loses to Jones, not only does he lose the title, but he loses his chance to not avenge his only defeat but to secure his legacy as the greatest LHW of all time.

That is enormous pressure on a guy closing in on 40 at the tail end of his career.

And as an FYI despite not being a fan of DC I hope he wins. That if nothing else would motivate Jones to sort his shit out.

the difference is jone has been out of the game and has had a lot of issues legally and family wise that changes his state of mind. cormier has fought the vest in the last year and won with no issues. jones has just been hitting the gym and dealing with life problems. very close fight the last time. I see it being close again but cormier is gonna be 1 step about him.

It be another close fight with JJ winning. DC is old man. JJ will be rusty but, DC is not a young man.

Hendo got gifted a decision in the first fight. Won easily the second fight. Both have a appalling ufc record both worthy of being axed.
