Coincidence? Memo released by Republicans same day Trump says no to Russian sanctions

I reject the "consider that your country..." part, because you can't base your national security policies on guilt. That's a separate argument, but it's a critical thinking mistake that a lot of anti-US-intervention people are making in these discussions.

I'm nowhere near well-informed enough to recommend length and extent of sanctions. That's statecraft, fine-tuning.

do you want Russians to suffer? and should they receive same type of sanctions that is on Iran or North Korea?

I just see a lot of "hate Russia" stuff on here basically and the other half is it seems the Trump fans who like Russia and are happy for the small help done in twitter bots and Facebook messages. But what to me is hard to respect is how small that is compared to global politics and fact that your elections were not rigged by Russia.

yeah, obama bent down out of respect (or at least he thought so)
trump bent down cause of golden jewelry (sell out after talking all that shit about saudi royalty - he bent the knee at first sight of gold/money)

trump supporters are experts (or so they think) at 2 things:

1) deflection - any valid arguments are dismissed with "BUT LIBERALS" whining (even when they are not arguing with liberals - apparently trump supporters have a hard on when it comes to liberals)

2) reaching for straws

swamp draining, less government regulation/spending, better infrastructure/healthcare, less US military interventions around the world, better social care for vets, smaller government, less violence/racism, etc - none of that is happening so you have to purposefully ignore those things and focus on bullshit agendas like immigration and tax breaks for the biggest corporations in the world > 2 things out of which US citizens get jack shit but misery and even more social divide

now continue your bullshit deflections and labeling people liberals

china, russia and india are having a field day and since they are consolidated as fuck will know how to take advantage of weakened US

I think you meant Obama bowed.

eh, english isnt my native language

but you can say both of them bent down and were ready to take it in the ass - as are all politicians that come to visit saudis and get blinded by all the gold

Trump walked away with 300 billion from that trip.

That is the difference. We’re no longer the ones writing checks.

you mean military sector walked away with 300billion - 300bil that general public wont ever see
the only ones profiting from that deal are private entities like:

Lockheed Martin
Boeing
Raytheon
General Dynamics
Northrop Grumman
BAE

now you might say there are bunch of hard working americans employed by those companies - yeah, and only the ones in upper management will get a slice of that money, while run of the mill workers will see their lives unchanged by those multi billion dollar deals

and weapons saudis bought for those 300bil will be used to further destabilize middle east which means more US involvement and more tax payer money being spent to deal with that shit show (in yemen, syria, palestine, egypt, etc)
so yeah, "gain" 300bil lose twice or more as much cleaning saudi shit up in middle east + prolonged costs of having to take care of military vets that were part of middle east missions

btw trump is making military deals with a country accused of repeatedly violating international law and which he accused of masterminding 9/11 - are you still in favor of that deal ?

WASHINGTON WATCH: TRUMP’S SAUDI ARMS DEAL IS ‘FAKE NEWS’
"It’s really a “Saudi wish list” dressed up as a big deal to give Trump bragging rights, said Riedel, now a Brookings Institution scholar, and includes elements approved earlier by president Barack Obama. He questions whether the Saudis could even afford it in light of falling oil prices and the rising cost of their war in Yemen."

200 billion of the 300 was indeed for that. Here’s a slice of reality, that money actually benefits my home town. We have a military complex here that will have jobs for the next decade because of that trip.

Who do you think those folks will vote for?

Tell your brookings institute scholar that someone who’s home town is benefiting from that money, he’s an idiot.

Long story short, it would normally it would be grounds for impeachment. Whether the judicial branch or congress actually do anything about it is a different story.

Statute of limitations on it? Can the Democrats just wait to retake the government in the midterms and bring this up?

A little salty today, Dems?

Play that Russian card, until your fingers bleed.
How about we play the "White House is blatantly defying a congressional act passed with near unanimous support" card?

In your Canadian opinion, is it better just to ignore the dissolution of checks-and-balances within the American government, or do you think we should actively celebrate it?

Tell your brookings institute scholar that someone who’s home town is benefiting from that money, he’s an idiot.

This is not even a near approximation of an English sentence.
