Conor said it conor did it.
I'd argue that neither was a fluke. Conor's bjj was non-existent back when he fought Duffy. And to me, a Conor-Aldo rematch goes longer and Aldo makes it competitive for a while, but it still ends with a rd 2 or 3 KO via another left. Conors shown since the Aldo fight that his boxing is far superior to everyone else as long as he doesn't gas.
I don't call that a fluke either, Weizmann was checking leg kicks and Anderson wasn't setting them upNeither fight were "flukes". Anderson snapping his shin in half was a good example of a "fluke".
I mean he wasn't a white belt, but he's even said himself that it took getting submitted for him to realize he really needed to focus on bjj. Kavanagh talks about it in his book and how it changed Conor's outlook. The submission win over Hill you're referencing was a couple years after the Duffy fightNah Conor's ground game has always been decent. He even tapped a BJJ black belt in his cage warrior days for the title.
The lucky punch that he was filmed practicing minutes before the fight?Conor vs Aldo was the bigger fluke. There is a reason why Conor ducked the rematch. Conor knows he hit the jackpot with that lucky punch.

When it happened I thought it was fair and square but when Conor consistently ducked the rematch I realized it was a fluke and Conor knows it too
Are you sure about that ? Duffy probably has the best understanding of Boxing in the UFC, something most MMA fighters don't have.Neither were flukes.
The thing to add here, though, is that Conor has improved exponentially since he fought Duffy, and would put him in a coma if they fought today.
