Big Frank has better resume than Stipe. True or false?

On paper it seems that way but honestly dc twice, overeem and werdum have stipe edging ngannou out here

nganouu beat the younger genration of heavyweights back to back so I give him credit, if ngannou beat cain and jds in their prime it would be a different story
 
Stipe beat the worst version of every fighter on his list. He never beat a prime contender outside of Ngannou who was much improved in the rematch.

So tired of hearing the Stipe GOAT talk from the UFC. 3 title defenses is apparently all that is required.

well for hw ufc goat the bar isn’t as high as for other weight classes. Brock had like 2 title defenses, Cains was disrupted by JDS, werdum lost it to stipe in his first defense…

and if anything, Francis fought much of Stipes leftovers, not the other way around.

stipe had already knocked out Arlovski, Overeem and JDS before they fought Ngannou.

just some observations.
 
False. I think both are grossly overrated in the overall HW GOAT conversation with Stipe facing guys who were definitely not at their peak for nearly all of his run but really Ngannou was even worse for this and is still woefully one dimensional.
 
Sherdoggers that use fight finder knowledge are hilarious. Context. How good were these fighters when the guys fought them? It doesn't matter if you do better when you fight them after their prime or when they aren't good anymore.

This. Big Frank actually sounds borderline racist to me as if he some stereotype from the southern US or something lol like how do you get "Big Frank" out of Francis Ngannou? Absolutely cringe every time I hear this
 
Stipe has a better record but how much better? I guess it's for you to decide.

Francis best win is by far Stipe himself, followed by Gane.

Stipes best win is Werdum and Francis Imo. Those versions of DC and JDS were questionable man. Same reason why it's ridiculous to include Cain as a win under Francis"s cap. If you disagree, if Jon beats Stipe, I guess Jon Jones beat a good version of Stipe also
