Yep, and it makes me paranoid as hell as the connection between gerd and eventual esophageal cancers is very real.

My ENT Doc told me I had silent reflux. I got prescribed 300mg of Ranitidine (basically a double dosing of Zantac) and told to take it every night. I was also told to elevate my bed so I don't lie flat. All this gave me really bad heartburn in the mornings. I cleaned up a lot of my diet, and it all went away.
Learn what foods trigger it and avoid. Corn and all it's forms (and a few other things) were to blame.

change your diet, avoid stuffing yourself and always chew your food look a horse to get the enzymes to help digest it, dont rush when you eat and avoid eating hard to digest heavy foods, it helps a lot of people, go look p GERD diet plans
