While I mostly agree, he must also realize that Kushner's official presence isn't always working to his benefit, as they don't appear to be on the same page with their beliefs. In this case I believe Trump's wishes to keep his daughter happy has not only helped Kushner get the advisory position, but possibly helped him keep it so far.Lol. I'd like to think so too, but no way Trump is that kind of smooth operator. Trump treats politics as an entrepreneur sees business. His strength is recognizing opportunities others don't or recognizing them earlier than others.
When it comes to the nitty gritty of policy or maneuvering personnel, I don't think he much cares.
But if Kush "messes up on his own and forces the pres's hand to oust him", well Ivanka might never find out and hold it against him lol!
