Mario Sperry and Murilo Bustamante are 2 of my favorite bjj guys from that era. Big Nog would complete that wonderful trifecta. I believe they were all Brazilian top team back in the day?

Don't have a problem with any of them. Met Roger, he couldn't have been more of a gentleman.

Royce seems to have a shitty attitude but he's one of the main reasons were enjoying this crazy sport today. You've got to admire his balls if nothing else.

Ryan seemed like a madman but was always entertaining.

To be honest they all seem pretty chill(in comparison to other Brazilians).

Carlson Gracie. He was the only guy that was reasonable enough and wasn't annoying on the jiujitsu propaganda machine. Rolles Gracie helped too.

Carlson had one of the best MMA teams back then and he's responsible for guys like Wallid, Pederneiras, De la Riva, Bustamante, early Vitor, Ricardo Liborio, Mario Sperry. A murdere's row of coaches and competitors.

Yep agreed. He also respected the wrestlers and Luta Livre guys and invited them to cross train.
