2 myth:
Most fedor fan claim that athlete usually decline between 8-10 years but there's zero scientific proof to back up that ridiculous claim.and fedor was winning and taking not much damage in those ten years.in fact it should boost his mental strength.
3: age and decline:
The only legit explanation to fedor decline is age but fedor was only 33/34 when he fought Bigfoot silva.
According to multiple studies ,strength peak around 25 years of age, plateaus through 35-40 years of age.after age 40 can be explained by the loss in the powerful type 2 fiber motor units with subsequent muscle atrophy and a loss in muscle power.

In short: there's zero proof and reason to believe that fedor was out of his prime when he fought bigfoot, werdum and hendo.

1/10

The 1 is for the photos of Fedor's beautiful body that happened to arouse me very much

Before feeding this troll, ask yourself why he only posts about Fedor in his short time here.

There's no proof that this thread isn't trash.

There’s no proof that there’s any way to say definitively if someone is or is not in their prime.

“Prime” is not a scientific category.

You have no point.

It's a fair point cause no one talks about Floyd Mayweather being past his prime.

In fact he arguably fought his hardest competition at the end of his career.

Fighting Canello is like Fedor fighting Miocic right now.

actually you can explain when athlete hit their physical prime through science

Amazing thread

Additionally, there's no proof that Michael Jordan was past his prime when he joined the Washington Wizards

Past prime has a lot of factors. Age, wear and tear, etc. 32 fights as a small heavyweight is a lot of damage.

Of course Fedor was in his prime during his losing streak in SF. He was 33 in a career where he took less damage than any other top fighter in MMA(their words). It just shatters the image of Fedor that his rabid fans on sherdog have so they must claim he wasn't the same anymore.

Prime Fedor got finished 3 times in a row, one of them against an old MW. Not because he was past it, but because he stopped fighting the Choi's, Lindland's, washed up Sylvia's and glass chinned Arlovski's.

There is if you had watched him in his actual prime.

It’s not about his physique, strength, or even age(atleast not then, maybe now that he is old) but changes in how he trained, what he focused on, and how he gameplans. He became a headhunter. A shell of the fluid MMA fighter that dominated. Thus, he was past his peak. Physical peakness means dick if you stop doing the right things. Maybe his physical peakness was what extended his unbeaten streak for as long as it did after his game was no longer peak..but he wasmy in his prime anymore. That was a few fights before he eventually lost to Werdum. Outside of the quick, dominant win over Tim...Fedor showed cracks against most everybody. Fighters not nearly as good as the ones he was dominating...in his prime. Nobody complains when he’s winning though but I wasn’t getting the performances I hoped for

Anyway, ban for talking shit about the GOAT.

There is no proof the world isn't encircled by an ice wall and is flat. No proof at all.

Fedor fans can come up with almost any excuses you can imagine

- He broke his hand repeatedly for several years starting in 2003. You can't punch, grapple or lift weights when your hand is always broken. Even his own teammates said Fedor could no longer use his hand for takedowns for a while there.

- He had already lost in Sambo before he lost in MMA

- he had 10 years of competing in MMA by 2010, on top of competing in Sambo concurrently and an entire judo career before all that

- he was obviously slower and smaller by the time he started losing.

- he had already looked slow and lackluster in some of his last wins like vs Hunt and Arlovski

- Werdum, Bigfoot and TRT Hendo were not chumps anyway. These are good fighters fighting a declined Fedor.

Why focus on his losses when he went 10 years undefeated and was the consensus #1 for 7 years? Only other person to stay on top that long was Jose Aldo and the same new fans are dragging his name through the mud now too. Everyone eventually loses if they fight long enough.

Fedor did not even lose until 33 years old.

Fedor and GSP both debuted at 23. GSP retired at 32 years old with 2 (or 3) losses after struggling with Hendricks. He only came back for one fight vs a 38 year old one eyed Bisping. Had GSP kept fighting all these years he would have eventually lost again just like Fedor and everyone else. Why is that so hard to understand for new fans?

Thank you for posting TS. I have reconsidered my opinion on Fedor and I now view his legacy in a much more negative light. Thank you for bringing this critical information to the forum.
