Industrious little fellows:

ahh man. False advertising. Such a disappointing video.

I thought some type of territorial dominance fight was about to happen and the shit was about to start to fly.

Donkey Nanny, Lombardy, Italy.
In the early spring shepherds drive huge flocks of livestock, here sheep, mules, donkeys, and goats from the Pre-Alpine hills to the plains of Lombardy, for grazing. The newborn lambs are carried in a custom made side saddle by the donkeys, and returned to their mothers at rest time.

I have been on a serious venom kick. I fall asleep to YouTube shows about venom, mostly snakes

I had a puffer named "Herbie" in college. Loved him. he was like a puppy following you around the room from his aquarium and eating from my hands. He was also an invaluable wingman. RIP Herbie.

That's a burrfish, a close relative of the puffer.
I've owned quite a few different species over the years and most puffers will exhibit the behavior you talked about. I have had a couple asshole puffers, but I've had more clownfish attack my hand than puffers. Hawaiian pink spotted and Papuan toby's usually have white stripes/spots but when you show them attention they'll turn their stripes/spots blue.

Yup.. puffers are highly intelligent..

I'd say stingrays, puffers and the bigger species of snakeheads are top of the class when it comes to fish.. never owned salt puffers but i've had mbu and fahaka..

Unfortunately snakeheads are illegal to own in the US.
A Cross River puffer is my holy grail. Rarely for sale and super expensive, last one I seen for sale was $3500.

Just sand crabs nothing to flash, way more interesting shit here than them.

I backpacked almost the entire east coast back in 2003, I've seen Australia from outback to metropolis and you know what I always found funny? Australians often characterized harmful insects and animals as "harmless" lol. "Don't worry about that mate, its hamless" lol.

I remember working on an orange farm near Emerald Queensland and there were these giant spiders with webs up to 4-5 feet in diameter. The farm idiots went out of their way to brief us before we started the job and said that the spiders were scary looking but harmless. We went to the library after and figured out that they were poisonous and cause severe flu like symptoms. Rinse and repeat that experience along the entire east coast lol.

I think that culture probably evolved because Australians have to deal with a lot of lethal threats so things less dangerous become "hamless" .

That's my theory.

Those spiders are harmless compared to others! I have had SO many of those fucking things on me over the years havent been bitten yet...... Basically if you wont die from it, its harmless.

I am guessing it was one of these guys?

Holy fuck man lol. That's the species right there.

Good job man.

We grabbed a giant locust/grasshopper thingy and threw it in one of the webs, it was like the discovery channel.

They were 5-6 inches in diameter on that farm. The name of the farm was 2PH farms, who I think since went under due to some kind of citrus disease or something.

Golden Orb Weaver, very common here. Scary looking fuckers but honestly they are harmless.

Farms go bust all the time no surprise, especially up North. One big cyclone rips through and it can be near game over.
Where was your favorite lace in Aus?

It's hard to say because the experiences were so different but I liked Melbourne alot, we spent a lot of time in the park and at the Crown casino.

2PH farms that we just spoke of in Emerald Queensland was great because that was the first job I hit that I could make some money. They were paying 45 dollars a bin and I ran my own crew and tractor doing 4 bins each a day at 13% tax so I was able to save some money and continue down the coast. Also the people running that farm were less corrupt and backwoods than other farms.

Cairns was cool because it was my first time in a tropical environment and there was good ass a boobs everywhere lol.
