He has been very humble after this. It’s refreshing.

He did hump his last opponent after brutalizing him, but Costa talked a lot of shit. Izzy seems like a good guy. So does Whitaker, it’s weird they don’t like one another. I think it’s more of a local rivalry thing.

The Costa thing was (among many other things) pretty classless, but so was Costa. Jan is a champ's champ in personality, and so is Izzy, so I didn't expect shit. Even before the decision was called, they were laughing, congratulating, and being chummy. Good to see.

He's still of questionable character for all the reasons you stated, but his behavior post-loss tells me that there are some good aspects to his personality too.
