Yves Edwards lights up Brendan Schaub in interview

You'll notice that he only defends his position when talking behind the back of the person involved.

He also just doesn't really have a position. He just says what makes him sounds best in the moment. Depending on who he is talking to. That is why I say he has no honor. H is hyper aware of people's opinions and is a status whore. He looooves to pump himself up by belittling his "friend" Bryan Callen. Thing is, Callen is twice the analyst that Schuab is .Schuab is not an analytical thinker. He is constitutionally unsuited for the analysts job. What he is good at is understanding people and power dynamics.

I mean, he isn't a bad guy. He has a heart and is a gentle, loving dude. But he vant hrlp himsrlf and plays too many head games in service of his fragile ego. He needs therapy.

Agreed with most of this. I won’t say he needs therapy maybe just another confrontation from Rogan live on JRE lol. Don’t know if anyone has really confronted him on his issue. Maybe if they did he’d recognize it and try and change.

And Edwards at one point (late 2004-early 2005) was the number one ranked Lightweight in the world (the most stacked division in MMA history next to Welterweight).
Meanwhile, Schaub never even broke the top ten in one of the weakest men's divisions in all of MMA (next to Light Heavyweight and Flyweight).

Did he really never break top 10? Find that hard to believe.

This. He was also the uncrowned LW king after he kicked former #1 LW josh thomsons head into the second row.

But let that casual I originally quoted have his day in the sun when it comes to brenden shaulb fighting gabriel gonzaga lol.

What's funny is I remember that fight more for the late stoppage; Mazzagatti looked like he was wondering if he left the stove on at home while simultaneously making up a grocery list in his head for eggs, milk, and bread.

Schaub often says he was a top ten heavyweight of the world, but he never broke into it.

(The rankings right after Schaub defeated CroCop):
1. Cain Velasquez
2. Brock Lesnar
3. Fabricio Werdum
4. Junior dos Santos
5. Antonio Silva
6. Shane Carwin
7. Frank Mir
8. Fedor Emelianenko
9. Alistair Overeem
10. Antonio Nogueira

Where did you get those rankings? I checked fight matrix looks like he was top 10 here:

Thats the thing about Brandon he never really wants to defend his position. Espciially if things are getting heated. He’d rather just switch sides and move on. He does this with Rogan a lot. It’s just who he is and really he needs to work on that for his own career.

Yes and no. It also makes sense if you talk a lot but you're not super informed on every topic.

Then you don't know shit about mma from before 2012. Franca was a top LW when Yves beat him, which is leaps and bounds more than you can say about any of schaubs opponents.

Are any fighters he's beaten still in the ufc?

2004/ 2005 Franca was a top LW because...?

Give wikipedia a break, Yves never won anything important and that ranking was BS.

To answer your first question: Franca knocking out Caol Uno at the end of 2003 made him a top Lightweight in 2004, which is the year Edwards defeated him.

And Schaub never broke the top ten heavyweight rankings in the world (one of the three weakest divisions in men's MMA), whereas Edwards spent most of his prime in the top ten, was in the top five for a good portion, and was the number one ranked Lightweight for a period of time as well (in the most stacked men's division in MMA along with Welterweight).

But everyone here knows you're clueless, and the last thing you'll do is admit you're wrong so you toss out baseless remarks like "Yves never won anything important" and that impartial websites' rankings were "BS" all so you can continue to live in denial and spin false narratives because your pride and fragile ego can't accept the possibility of being wrong, and that makes you a sad human being.

That easy, eh? You say LW was the most stacked, but Franca was top with one good win? Doesn't make much sense.

He was ranked no. one for a couple of months according to some website, according to reality he was finished three times in the next couple of years and went 1-6. Was that ranking accurate?

What meaningful title did Yves won, then? An actual example would prove me wrong better than ad hominem.

Just swap out Karyn for Fallon Fox.

It/He/She ticks more boxes.
