except Gil was closer to being finished by the uppercut than Diego was by anything else. At the end it was a clear UD for Gil but it was competitive and Diego made it a nailbiter.
 
Great warriors..... sometimes maybe even the greatest warriors, do not necessarily win the fight. Thank you Diego. That was beautiful. Perhaps if it were 5 rounds it would have gone his way.

Yeah well its not boxing....its mma. Different sport....everything that works well in boxing isn't alway effective in mma and the other way around

Yeah he's weird as hell and a bit crazy but he puts on fights.
 
I don't see how Diego didn't win round 3, and 2 was very close. 30-27??

At least the judges got it right.
 
I mistakenly wrote off Diego. He's still one of the most entertaining fighters of all time.

Diego did nothing outside of the 1 uppercut. Literally walked straight into punches Matt Riddle style.
