The difference in their background iz tremendous. Brock with a legit & very dominant NCAA wrestling stint.

Punk is a legit athlete with a Kempo karate & JJ background that goes back at least a decade or more... but no one knowz how extensive it is... or how much he trained it during that period... but we do know that he'z been training at one of the premier MMA gymz full time for the last 2 yearz.

All that said, Punk's background iz nothing like Brock's... not to mention Brock's dominant size advantage... so it doesn't make sense to compare Brock's quick title shot to Punk's potential title shot.

By the way... Punk vs. Gall... Punk with the 1st round KO!
