If you were casting a movie or something and could only choose one fighter to represent the sport of MMA in it fighting with his/her own style, who would it be? Mine might be Chris Weidman - great wrestling, good but basic looking striking, solid jitz (reputed to be great but haven't really seen in cage yet), good looking and big enough but not a monster. For a female I would go with the champ Cupcake, similar skills but leaning more heavily towards grappling/BJJ. Alternately you could pick someone like Pettis to portray MMA as a sport full of flashy kicks and ninja subs XD

Who would you choose as your representative of MMA?

Chucky obviously.

Even got the right name to go along with everything else.

And please never write "XD" again, make your trolling less obvious.

GSP will be easily the most fitting, and since it's a movie he will have KO power too lol

He's the prototype of the all-around fighter

Mark Coleman would make the best candidate for an MMA specific movie. Lee Murray would have the best life story for an MMA related movie.

Michael Bisping and Guy Ritchie will direct and produce it.

Literally any top 20 to top 10 LW or WW.

Like to create a realistic fight in a movie?

Silva would look the best.
The Silva Vs Griffin fight is a good example.

If not any good all around fighter will do.
Rory Mac
RDA
Rockhold
Machida
Bones
Cain

It depends on the movie. If it's a "The Wrestler" style portrayal of a gritty vet, I'd choose Hendo. If it's a flashy action movie, I'd go with Wonderboy. If it's a scary villain, Kongo.

If I just wanted to show someone what MMA is in a pure form, I'd choose someone very well rounded like Shields, and if I want to show someone the spectacle the UFC has become, I'd choose Conor.

Seriously...GSP, Rich Franklin, Frank Shamrock, JBJ, there are a bunch of guys that can fit the criteria.

A "The Wrestler" type movie about Randy Couture could be pretty good

From the military to the Olympics, early UFC success, mid career slump, resurgence at LHW, helping launch the UFC with TUF, retirement, comeback to win the title against Sylvia. Plus I think he went through quite a few marriages so there's that drama.

Bobby Lashley. Nobody wants to see normal looking people in movies or video games.
