Over the past few years there has been a growing chorus of disgruntled UFC fans here on Sherdog and other popular mma discussion forums. They have been voicing their unhappiness with a laundry list of things ie: Reebok deal, watered down cards, wmma, Goldberg sacking, lack of title defences, etcetera, etcetera. Much of it warranted, some of it not.

My question for my fellow Dogs is this; what would it take to make you say "I've had enough with The UFC, I'm done." and actually mean it? What is the single thing that they could do that would be crossing the line and drive you away for good?

You say that like people here pay to watch events, cuz.

Having a man who had sexual reassignment surgery fight a woman, especially a hot woman.

We pay for everything we watch. We trade our TIME which is invaluable and cannot be given back and which is finite.

Nothing.

I gripe and complain about shit, but I will always tune into good fights.

I'm an old school combat sports fan, so I will always pull up a chair with a drink, come fight night.

Nothing, unless they change the actual rules of how the fighters should fight in the octogon.

Them striaght fixing a fight would be about the only thing that would make me never watch an event again.

Lol, okay...I can see how that might be a deal breaker for some.

As long as they put the heshe against Cyborg I'd be okay with it.

I don't think i would ever stop watching it, i like combat sports to much to just quit on it.

They would have to do something really fucked up to turn me off it. I'm not sure what that may be.

Unfortunately, probably nothing. They've got a great product and they know it. Sucks, but it's true.

When Dana said Wanderlei is retired because he asked for ppv points

If the cards get any longer. They start at 8 est and don't end until 5 pm the next day. Less commercials please

I'm not asking what would cause you to drop your interest in the sport altogether. Just what would make you jump ship on The UFC.

There are other venues for MMA.

Sorry, I'm not one of those liberals that cry about every little thing, or one of those GO USA Patriots that say, "I won't dare watch the NFL, if those ass hole won't stand for the flag!"

I don't watch a the UFC, because they save whales, and they go green. I enjoy watching combat sports athletes testing their skills agaisnt one another. Unless they change the UFC to the ultimate Frisbee championship, nothing's gonna stop me from watching Khabib smash someone, or DC rag doll his next opponent.

Hell, the only reason why I'm even on here is for news and updates on fighters, and upcoming fights. The side show drama is just a byproduct that distracts me at times, but I'm not THAT invested in whether or not fighters are getting screwed, etc. If any of us were, we would've stopped watching ages ago, because nothing's really changed.

Do I say my piece about how shitty Dana can be, or how unfair the system is at times, of course, that's just human nature, but basically, as long as they have the best fighters, and they fight each other, imma keep watching.

Proven match fixing.

No, you're just one of those doofuses who tries to drag politics into every discussion. Even when it makes zero sense to do so.

I’m damn near done to tell you the truth.

I thought the goals were the best fighting the best and the legitimization of the sport. Haven’t seen those two things being pushed in the past several years.
