Top 3-5 in the world at 155 during his peak. Loses to Khabib. Lost to Gaethje. Prime Marinovich Penn also beats him.

Yes.

Tony basically beat perennial contenders, has-beens, etc.

His epic struggle with Gaethje (a non-Champion, who constantly failed to become Champion) didn't age well.

I voted Tony was Overrated.

Tough, but had life-and-death battles with scrubs.

Was never elite.

He was good, but people took good and overrated him like he could beat Khabib or was the best. Even his long win streak wasn't outclassing anybody, and was taking a lot of damage and getting dropped or wobbled a bunch of times, had some eye pokes and illegal upkicks that swayed momentum. The only guy he outclassed was Josh Thompson, who was pretty old and on a losing streak in his last UFC fight.

People are acting like Tony was in his prime when he fought Justin. He had a ton of injuries and milage on him before that fight.

When he was in his prime, he was a clear #2 and a lot of us thought he could beat khabib.

If they fought in their prime (was scheduled what, 4 or 5 times?) I still think Tony was the guy that had a pretty good chance.

Can he gain enough weight to go into pro wrasslin’? He’s crazy enough to cut good promos and he has enough moves to do good there. Maybe AEW, they have some of the smaller guys in their promotion.

An 80-year-old Khabib, would never (get submitted) by Bobby Green or Michael Chiasa.

Even if shot twice before the opening bell.
Khabib would never (get submitted) by Quemuel Ottoni either lol
