Your most prized video game?

Here are what I think are probably the most conventionally prized games I have. Without a doubt the CIB Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy III(VI) are the best. Worn, but in wonderful condition, all the inserts and everything.

Woof! I am quite jealous of the FF3. The game is pricey enough, but the box too? God love ya. Coincidentally I'm currently playing through FF2 via FF Origins that I recently picked up for the PSone. Not quite so rare as some of those others, but I did manage to get the black label copy.

Probably my copies of...

Super Fire Pro-Wrestling X for the Super Famicom
Super Fire Pro-D for the Sega Dreamcast
Dragonball-GT Final Bout for the PS1

Have you played Fire Pro Wrestling World? Or are those games a thing of the past for you?

Thanks man

It was my first Final Fantasy game. I played it right after I went through my first breakup, at age 14. Final Fantasy VI is about loss, total, complete loss. Terra lost her memory and freedom. Lock lost his love. Edgar lost his brother, Sabin lost his way. Everyone in that game is dealing with profound, tremendous loss, and it helped me understand that I could still make something good out of life in the wake of loss

Since then I've encountered other, more painful losses but I still believe this to be true. That is part of the reason why I've kept it in such immaculate condition. Like I said, it's clearly used, but there have been no bumps or slashes or anything like that- it's just been life-worn

I have several extremely rare NES games. Even though some are incredibly rare, they aren't worth a whole lot (relatively) compared to a lot of more common games due to collectors' lack of knowledge or desire to collect them.

Some of my more cherished gems:

Probably the rarest licensed game ever

I have all 4 variations of this

Papillon Gals
No online image for this game. Supposedly only a couple full NTSC copies are known to exist. Obtained directly from the company in Taiwan prior to them shutting down.

One of the 150 promotional copies of this

I have every year of these, with 2008 being the rarest. This is a homebrew release but highly sought after and collectable. Only ~50 of these released.

I've had a few prototypes. Not super interested in those, but I guess they are unique. Would only be super interested if it were an unreleased prototype of a game that was super special to me as a kid.

I have all the 8 bit Xmas other than 08 and 09

Were you ever on Nintendo age before that was killed?

Oh man! I'm a Fire Pro fan 4-LIFE! I play it on my P.C. with an Xbox controller. I have to disconnect my HOTAS to do it, no biggie.

The roster and move sets are just mind boggling.

Lol I had all the Dragon Ball Z games on PS1 back in the day. They were Japanese imports. I had this spring you put in the PS1 to make it think the lid was closed. It would check the region on initial boot so when it stopped spinning you would just swap the disc out and reset I think to trick the ps1 into thinking it was American region game.

No idea what I ever did with those games. Maybe they’re still in my parents basement or something lol

Oh yeah! I did that trick all the time! I kept all of my Japanese imports too. I'll post pics later.

FF8 i was really good at, even got the card game down at some point.

Starcraft 2 but not for online.

Good that theyre 2 of my favorite games.

Nothing spectacular, but they mean a lot to me. I have the M2 releases of Ketsui Deathtiny and EspRaDe.
