They all have crazy names. Growing up around Cleveland it was 100.7 WMMS "The Buzzard' still operating today surprisingly. I'll always do a quick check when returning to the area.

Still the same station. Like Led Zepplin and The Rolling Stones? Well, you better, because you'll be hearing them fifty times in the next three hours.
 
For me it was 103.5 in the 90s or Q101 for "current" rock back in the 90s and 2000s.

Classic Rock was 97.9 the Loop for decades.

The crazy thing is I was a big Mancow fan and his morning show was on all three of those station at various points.
 
There was no local radio station when I grew up but if you shoved a pair of scissors in the back of your stereo and then attached a few wire hangers to them and left it dangling near a window, every now and then you could pick up old-school KISS FM when it was a pirate station
