Your favorite 5 Albums

Thank you, same for your list as well! I saw you had NIN and a ministry on your list, have you checked out the Die Warzau album I had on my list? It’s generally considered “industrial,” but Die Warzau is a lot funkier, and lots of fun instruments used like horns, steel drums, all kinds of stuff. Their whole discography is amazing.

If you’ve never heard the record, you should put on good headphones and listen to it in one sitting. Man I wish I could go back in time and have that musical experience again, hearing that album for the first time.
Nope, but I will now. Listened to a few seconds of a few songs after seeing this, and the vocalist kind of reminds me of the guy from Machines of Loving Grace a bit but obviously different(listened to more, and he sounds less like them than i thought. Still cool though). Can't hate on that. Will definitely listen to more of it.

Fair comparison, I was tempted to put Machines of Loving Grace’s album “Concentration” on this list too. Jim Marcus from Die Warzau is a fantastic singer. Hope you check it out, and if you do, let me know what you thought.

Thanks. Lateralus is my #2 Tool album. Almost went Empire by 'Ryche instead of Mindcrime but that whole concept album idea pushed it, and it was their last "metal" album with (with Tate anyway...Todd's QR now is back to a more prog metal sound)

They're both really good. I think Disposition, Reflection, and Triad push it to my top Tool album though. Those last three songs ending the album are amazing

Love to see another Deftones album in the thread. Great choice with AFI too

Stankonia is Outcast or Andre 3000. Achtung baby ? Rammstein or something ? License to Ill sounds familiar, 80ies hiphop ? Rest I don't know.
Great thread Trab, and posts with a song or two letting us hear new music is a good thing.

None of you spring chickens would have heard of them so I'll refrain.
Give it a shot AFNAF, we can all use being turned on to good tunes of any age.

Give us some jams, Sonny ! How about your jams @Pittie Petey ?
