Often we get fights pitting a young, heavily hyped fighter against an old, proven warhorse, like this weekend's Rory/Penn and Gus/Shogun. Which way do you guys usually swing in who you cheer for or expect to win?

I tend to pick the guys with hype trains to win, but root for the legends.

Some mentioned maybe up and comers in the UFC but they have been fighting for years under different banners.

Depends on the fight.

BJ/Rory- As long as this fight is a war it will be good for the sport. A Rory win would give the UFC some fresh new blood. A motivated BJ could still have more then a few good years in him. I would hate to see either get dominated though.

Shogun/Gus- Really cheering for Gus here. The LHW division DESPERATELY needs some young talent. With Bader and Phil both recently being knocked down, we seem to be seeing the same old faces in the top 10.
