The only one in a position to ruin the fight is Whittaker.
Whether Yoel weighs 185 or 185.2, this is a great fight, and only a bitter Romero hater can actually hope it gets canceled.
Seriously, the guy is 41 and this could be his last fight, instead of hoping to catch one last glimpse of that genetic freak who’s never been in a boring fight, a bunch of cucks are hoping he gets scrapped over 90 grams. Times like this you see who the true fight fans are.

Many people don’t understand that it’s not just .2 lbs. If that’s all it was, there’d be no issues.
The big deal is, Romero is too big for the weight class, and Whittaker isn’t.
I don’t know what Whittaker’s pre-cut weight is.. I know he’s a big dude but he’s clearly smaller than Romero. So say for the sake of argument that Whittaker is 197 pre-cut, in camp (not out of camp, walk around weight. That’s different)
He’s got a cut of 12 lbs fight week, and makes weight easily. He’ll rehydrate and be 195 on fight night.
Romero might be 210+ in camp, the week before, and be trying to dry out 20-25 lbs the week of the fight. Those last few lbs are a motherfucker, especially at age 41. So every little bit of help in that situation, every .5 lb that he gets given to him, is a huge help in terms of the damage he won’t have to do to himself to make the same weight as his opponent.
Then on fight night he’s back to 205+, and that 10 lb difference is a big deal, especially when the guys are so evenly matched and little lever in terms of skill.
This was a huge deal in the Rockhold fight IMO. If Romero would have been forced to cut another 2.7 lbs after the 2nd fail... he’d have been so fucking dead trying to make himself weigh the same as Luke that Luke could have flicked a booger on Romero and knocked him out.
If it were some scrub like CM Punk, the weight wouldn’t matter because the skills are so far apart. Conor or Max Holloway would murderkill CM Punk regardless of the weight difference.

If Whittaker is smart he will take the fight, and try to win it anyway, that's what a true champ would do. If he pulls out mma fans will crucify him, and no one will give a shit about .2 lbs as an excuse.
